Selling limit goof! eBay saying I've sold thousands of dollars that I certainly have not!

Tried to list something and was denied because eBay said I have reached my monthly selling limit.  I know I had not, and checked.  Turns out my monthly limit is wrongly listed at having sold thousands of dollars more than I actually have.  It actually looks more like the amount I have sold in the past 10 years combined!  What to do?

The total eBay looks at is Listed and Sold, combined.

They are saying I have sold over 4,000 items this month, in my monthly selling limits section.

i'm having a similar issue, though not quite as dramatic. my active listings total is off by 7 items and $800. cs checked it out, acknowledged the issue, and put in a request to have it reset--told me to give it 24 hours to process...that was 3 or 4 days ago...lol.

If you have multi-quantity listing of say, 100 of the same item, that will count as 100 items.

Forgot to add that if you reduce the quantity of a single listing, you will be able to add more new listings.

Looking at the the person asking the question listings, it is 415 single items, no multi-quantity.

Try contacting eBay via Facebook or Help and Contact that is at the bottom of all the pages.

I looked at one of the Monopoly listings earlier. There was a quantity of 7 listed as available.

Looked at 12 of your listings and all had at least 10 originally available, and most had more than 10 available.

Chatted with customer service and had them increase limits.  Problem solved!  Thanks everyone!
