Thinking of selling somewhere else. Sales dropped. And inventory up. It comes in two day waves. Not like that on other sites. Any ideas?

Sounds like you already know where else to sell if you can make the statement that it's not like that on other sites.

What are the other sites you refer to?

You're going to use eBay's discussion boards to figure out a different site on which to sell? That's some chutzpah right there, my friend.

Well of course we wish only the best in what you decide but we cannot in all fairness give you ideas on an ebay forum.

There are ebbs and flows no matter which site(s) you choose.

Kinda confused by your post.  You have tried other venues, heard about other venues?  Looks like you sell Handbags and accessories.  Am guessing you already know which sites cater to those types of items?

No idea on traffic other places, but you currently only have 97 listings up.  I am guessing this is part of what is causing your angst.  You really need to list more on here (and anywhere else you might go) to have greater visibility on the site, etc.

Good luck on whatever you decide.  Maybe run a sale, do a new PL campaign, etc.  Definitely would list more on here and see that improves your views/sales.

I sell on four sites and I have ebbs and flows on all of them.

Any ideas well yes your selling all over the place with different products a lot of the items not desired. Try to learn a niche and do put up a returns policy. Join ebay Facebook groups (ebay reseller Hub) and learn what some of the bigger sellers are doing then follow their method. Your not succeeding on ebay trying to sell somewhere else the same stuff won't help you. When your in a niche you learn a desired product and you start building a client base. When your selling random stuff that is not in demand items your not going to get a lot of sales. Apart from that under 100 items listed is not going to get you much traffic.

All websites have eb/flo so your statement that it's "not like that on other sites" is not even close to accurate. I've had a website for 10 years, and I get 3 sales in 20 minutes from States 1000's of miles apart, and then nothing for 2 days.

Where else can one go to sell like eBay?

Diversification is always a good thing although it does make things a bit more tricky to handle if you have am item listed across multiple sites. There are highs and lows on all sties so there is no sliver bullet answer out there. On average only about 30% of my sales are on eBay.

Hi, just took a look at your completed listings to see you are selling quite well. For having under 100 items listed, you still have made Top Rated Seller status and your sales are very steady. You may skip a day here and there, but i know other sellers who would love to do as well as you. So hang in there.
