Sellers check your PHOTOS on newly auto relist items...

All my photos have disappeared for items that were automatically relisted within the last 8 hours (give or take)... on the phone with Ebay conceirge now

Come on Alan......... thanks for letting us know that the relists are no longer losing pics.     NOW, part of the problem is the ones that relisted and did lose the photos........will those be restored or are people going to have to reload the photos?.......

What about all the sellers that have already experienced this?  Any guidance on whether or not ebay will reunite listings with their photos?  

I have seen no announcements to let sellers know this has occurred, so if ebay won't/can't restore these photos, I believe it needs to be explained.   Many sellers may not even realize their photos are missing.  I wouldn't have known if I hadn't read this board.

- GTC relists are no longer removing photos.

- Previous listings affected are still missing photos, no restoration has taken place.

- Big new problem: variation listings are now missing all variation photos except lead image. No relist involved (not set to renew for 24 hours)! So far I found only 2 listings affected but I haven't checked them all yet. Anybody else experiencing this one??

They won't. The burden of repairing these listings will fall on you. The sooner you start re-uploading photos to the damaged listings, the better.

alan@ebay  All my listings that lost photos are still missing photo, and I'm sure thats the case with everyone else.  Could you please tell us if ebay is working on restoring our photos to those listings, or are we just plum out of luck?

This is one of the reasons I host my own pictures and display them in the body of my listings. 

The constant site changes with no meanful testing has made eBay the poster child for how NOT to run an ecommerce site.

I am really glad I checked the board today. I just found a bunch of listings with the same problem--all my pics on the following listings are gone:

When you say "resolved", you must mean going forward.

What about the listings that were renewed without the photos already? Are sellers responsible for reposting those photos?   Ebay was kind enough to remind me to "meet photo recomendations on listings" today - so I presume that should answer my own question.

It's shameful that Ebay can't take the time to send an email to sellers with information on these issues rather than force them to hash it out amoung themselves in the "community".

EBay better compensate for down sales over the weekend and the hours of pulling 1000+ parts to be repictured. I know if the pictures do not reappear by the end of this week and eBay offers no compensation I will be speaking to a lawyer.

I agree, it's **bleep**.... BUT, I'm just letting you know that eBay is under no obligation to compensate you in any way for glitches on the site, lost sales because of said glitches, and so on. It's in the Terms of Service which you agree to by using the site. If they do credit you in any way, it is because they feel compelled to out of the "goodness of their heart" ... not because they're REQUIRED to.
