I am in the process of revising and updating our SkUs to integrate with a much larger project. I have been using the new Seller Hub feature of quick edits.
Today the variations editing for custom label SKUs stopped working. I can scroll over to price and edit but the SKU field is giving stopped giving me an edit option.
Can anyone verify that the "Custom Label" field is or is not working?
Appreciated - Dave

can you let us know if this is a reverse in functionality or if it is a temporary glitch please.
Hi @nodr-45 & @selecttech, I've just tried this out and do have the pencil edit icon for quantity and custom label. Are you still running into this issue or is it also working normally for you now too?
Yea, I didn't check over the weekend but on Monday it works. We can see that the IT dept fiddled with it because it's slightly different than it was before. Originally when you click on the pencil icon to change quantity, whatever number you type totally replaces the previous quantity. But now, when you do that, it adds the character to the end of the existing quantity. For instance if I had a variation with quantity 2, and clicked to edit then typed "3"... originally it would change the new quantity to 3 (then I would just press enter to submit). But now, the new quantity would be 23. There's an extra step now requiring you to delete the existing quantity number before entering a new one.
Brian I mentioned a related issue earlier in this post. About the weird red text error I randomly get sometimes when changing quantity for variations. Here is a screenshot. What does that error mean? As far as I know, everything in my listing and variations are good. Please help.

Here's another random error I get. I got both of these random errors so far 3-4 times total as I'm updating about 10-15 listings inventory. And I get them every time I do my weekly listings inventory restock session. I can assure you the UPC is entered in the corresponding listing as well as a valid price. Please address. Thanks.

Bump. Anyone here? Anyone? Bueller??
This should be a nice change of pace since this isn’t a GTC issue.

I can confirm this same issue with needing to manually delete the quantity since this weekend.

I know beggars can't be choosers here, but I prefer the previous method where whatever character you type overrides the existing characters versus adds to it. It's all about consistency. If you revise the listing the traditional way within the revision pages and change the quantity... it does override the existing as it should. So why make it behave differently when you go into the hub "quick edit"? It can easily confuse sellers. I suspect this is due to different ebay programming depts who are not on the same page. I foresee alot of sellers accidentally increasing their quantities... a seller changing their quantity from 1 to 2 can very easily end up with a revised quantity of 12. Recipe for disaster.
