Even then it will probably be a hard "sell" to convince them to help.
There's an employee at the shop where I work who approaches me every few months to ask if I'll consider selling his stuff... DVDs, books, Video Games, vintage clothing... whatever he has around the house. I've said no every single time but he asked me this again yesterday, so I don't think he gets it.

I've never had a chargeback in over 20 years.
I get other people have them, but for me I would not build them into my business model to the point it discourages me from moving forward.

It appears that you got yourself in a bit of a jam with negative feedback. Is that why you want someone else to sell?

I was just going to say if the sale goes south the seller will be responsible for full refund. Nope!

@adamcartwright wrote:$31 is still good money, depending on how fast the helper could move these items.
@adamcartwright Ok; since you still HAVE NOT stated where you are, ship the items to me in Nevada and we'll go from there. By the way, the $31 of a $100 sale is predicated on what I DECIDE to sell the items for. You state ...."if it's fast"...well, that is something that NOT 1 PERSON on the planet can decide.
After all, most just 'pay' for lawn care (80%) so it could take 2 years to sell 100 items.....

Yikes, I have no clue what you're talking about. You have no need to know where I'm located.
Strange.

I highly doubt it

If he still has Grandma's costume jewelry I might buy it from you, bulk.

This looks a little fishy to me.

Sorry for your loss.

Garage sale.

Best for you to sell this stuff on a local site - like Facebook Marketplace or Craig's List or Do an Estate/Garage Sale. Will require to do some work (aka BST - Blood, Sweat & Tears) but you know what the items are and the condition and can take pics of all that stuff, verify quantity of each item and prepare written descriptions vs a remote person. See whoever sells this stuff has all the contingent liabilities - like buying postage, getting stuff packages, returns issues, and credit card refunds for a minimum of 30 days up to 180 days after the sale,
In fewer words - these 50/50 split agreements seldom work out to the mutual benefit of each party.
GL selling your inheratance.

Actually, since ANY buyer that you happen to find is going to have to pay for shipping from your location to his location, and because lawn care equipment is going to be heavy, it's a good idea for that buyer to care where you, or at least the said equipment, is located. Think about it.

Yikes! first you are one person and now your the other???
And the 1st thing a "would be seller' would want to know is 'where you are' since a 'seller in Florida' is NOT going to be interested in 'selling things' for someone who is in Sheboygan Wisconsin (as is the OP, which is bkone43 which is also you?? (since you are now both people).
A 'seller' is going to need to be near you so they can 'see the items' 'test the items' 'take pictures and get info on the items to create the listings' etc. They are also going to need to be close enough to 'pick up the item, pack it and ship it' when it sells.

I don't know what you're talking about. Stop harrassing me by tagging me in this nonsense.
