For instance, I search Ebay for P/N AHHB1P and it comes up none found. I go to Bing and do a search and it has an Ebay link. The Bing link works and finds the auction. I look up P/N CR245M211A and again, zero found. Bing has an Ebay link and it goes directly to the listing.
So I go to recently viewed and the AHHB1P is there and I click on it. The auction comes up fine. While on the auction page I copy paste the part number in the search bar.....Zero found.
I am really hoping that potential customers are not having the same issues where my listings are concerned!

It's broken, bad. Very few sellers will ever notice as they do nothing to stay on top of the platform they sell on.

What browser or app are you using?
When I search for AHHB1P I get one result:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=AHHB1P&_sacat=0
You may not see that result if the seller does not ship to your location, though. Make sure you are using the correct location to calculate your shipping.
I get ten results for CR245M211A, including yours:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=CR245M211A&_sacat=0
Check to make sure you have not set any exclusionary filters when searching, and you are not searching a particular category.
Are you excluding any sellers from your search? If you try to exclude more than ten sellers from a search, you may wind up with no results.

Does one result seem normal to you? Click new or used after you get the one and what happens? There are probably hundreds / thousands of these listed, you see one and I see 0 on 4 browsers and a phone. It's destroyed, sales reflect it, and it's a huge deal.

Working just fine. Yes your shows. Others just are not putting their titles the same as yours. You never even mention it is an Ipad case. Believe me no buyer in the world would search that way.

No, the search is not working
........... Again !

I see this a lot. ebay search is very primitive

Did you bother to type what the OP is insinuating does not work ? It works fine, try it you will be amazed

Agreed. My sales have s_cked. I have been listing all day, mostly items with very high appeal and sell thru rates. When I look at the number of views, they are only like 2 or 3. Ebay and it's algorithm plays mind games on sellers. When you are in their favored status you sell things like hotcakes. When you have been relegated to the back burner, you could list bars of gold for 50 cents and get no sales. I find selling on here frankly very depressing and demoralizing.

Here are my search results using the Edge browser.
AHHB1P has 1 search result
CR245M211A has 10 search results
P/N AHHB1P has 0 search result
P/N CR245M211A has 0 search results
I don't have the foggiest notion of why someone would put the actually put the three alphanumeric characters "P/N" into their search. It just sabotages your efforts.

Believe me, you sell a gold bar for 50 cents it will be snagged up withing 10 seconds. Don't fool yourself.

I have never searched for that part number before, so I have no sense of how many "should" appear. Maybe there were thousands in the past when those iPads were new. Perhaps Marware has been persuing VeRO cases against other sellers. A search for completed items turns up no results.
If there are actually thousands of items listed with that same exact part number, you should be able to find one of them using other search terms, such as Marware CEO hybrid. Although I see a few other similar looking items in that search, none of the others apparently use that part number in the listing -- either in the title or item specifics.
It is entirely possible that there is a problem with that search. But just pointing out that a particular search finds few or no results does not actually prove that the search is broken. You would also have to show that there are currently listed items that should appear in that search but do not.

I did not put in P/N. Just the number itself.

Did I not call it? The people that sell on eBay typically have zero understanding of what is going on, why sales move, etc.
I am confirming that search is broken. The ones you linked are broken. That others don't get broken results doesn't mean that search isn't broken, working for a few is meaningless. We sell mid 6 figures a year with over 10,000 listings and around 40% of my searches today for various things have zero results on all browsers. Some work on one or the other, some don't. You will find no help here, only get frustrated at how dim people can be.
