Search layout changed?

Seemingly overnight my search layout has changed to look more like mobile, for example the filters of "buying format" are on the left hand side instead of center screen, as seen in the attached picture. I tried using a different browser and it went back to normal. Any help?

I don't know why they keep messing with what once used to be a perfect site for buyers and sellers. Sad☹️

I just got off phone with eBay. It's here to stay. Can't change it back.

with any change like this, I wish eBay would provide proof like user experience testing or somehow improved results when they make these changes.

So weird.  See my screenshot.  I don't recall EVER having Buying Format available at the top of the screen; it has always been a left-side filter for me, and I have to scroll wayyyy down for it.   When I say "always" I mean I've been a pretty regular buyer for about 3 years.  

I'm on Chrome browser, if that's important.

Completely agree, I’ve used eBay for years, it’s the worst it’s ever been. Leave things alone and stop messing, the old search page was fine. Seriously considering stopping using eBay.

Same here. It’s awful. And it’s the same thing too when we click in view all items, it flips to that side list with one big one in the middle. So awful to look at on my ipad that I’ve stopped clicking view all items. Bleh!

Are you searching using keywords, or just browsing a category?

I can usually see filter options when searching with keywords. Filters are often absent when just browsing a category, though. If you need to browse a category and use filters at the same time, try searching that category using the category name as your search keywords.

If you are using the eBay app and search results are shown in a format where a single item takes up most of the screen, go to your Filter menu and scroll down to the View options to choose between Gallery view, List view, or the single-item-per-screen view.

Sometimes an eBay update will change your preferences and you must go back and set them again.
