How are sales going for everyone this December? Is it as good, better, or worse?

Well in fairness my best months were right after the COVID stay at home restrictions were imposed. I sell, among other things, jigsaw puzzles. In a 3 month period I was inundated with orders to the point in about 10 weeks I sold what I would normally sell in a year . So, no, I doubt I will ever get there again.
On the other hand, setting aside that one unusual moment, I can say my sales are about 50% of what they were about 4 years ago. While there are those who blame it all on eBay I blame it all on in Jimmy 2.0.
However, Oct Nov and Dec of this year were each significantly improved over Sept Oct and Nov of this year. Now that the adults are back in charge ( OMG listen to all those knees jerking - WOW) I do believe that the next 4 years will be at least an approximation of that prior era. (Ronald Reagan vis-a-vis Jimmy Carter redux).
The big advantage is that due to the higher prices due to inflation I do not need to sell as many units to have the same dollar volume.
Why do you think I have added the following tag line?

Better than my November

Not much happening I have shutdown for the year.

Somewhat slow...with these eBay algorithms.
Mostly 'repeat buyers' which help me as this is my business plan.
If I don't make money...then guess who doesn't make money as well?
Besides, this is the month of parties and celebrating the holidays.

November was dead, 1st week of December great(really just one big sale), then this last week 3 out 7 days with no sales. I'm going through my 1st no sales weekend ever in 18 yrs. Something is wrong. Winter months aren't my best sales but I'm down 60% from last winter.

I put all my listings on Time Away December 10th until the New Year. I sell mostly wants not needs and it isn't worth the hassle with the way the shipping companies are operating currently.
It also gives me time to get my records together and be ready for tax season.
Up until then I had a really good Nov-Dec.

HI, Not so good here in N.J.. But, we really dont' offer any seasonal items. We kind of expect a slow down this time of year. We usually do better in the late winter & springtime. Good Luck With Your Sales! (J.B. From N.J.)

Better than my typical December, but I have a big ticket sale which might boomerang.

I put my sales on time away until after New Years.

A heck of a lot better than in the past few months. I got this in a fortune cookie last month, looks like it was correct. Also today is my birthday so everyone who reads this is bound by eBay policy to sing me the song wherever you are, I don't care who gives you funny looks about "Dear Gurl-caaaat". -It's POLICY!

It's better than it was but not as good as it used to be before it got to be as bad as it is.

Well if it it better than it was do you think it will ever be as good as it use to be, or perhaps not as good as it can be?
