Just wondering if it is just me, or if other long-time sellers have noticed a complete drop through the floor of sales that started in the beginning of this month?

Oh and the reason I did 'No Reserve' is it already sat out there listed for two week auctions before that with a reserve, and no bids. Maybe I should just try listing items for $1 just to see if any bids come in lol.

Well Ebay is apparently watching because they just went in and removed my link on my ad showing the the clock's retail value.

Hi again

ok screaming is one thing but action is better than words. so i put something on another site to experiment. i raised the price on both because it was sitting on ebay for about a year and nothing. ok..how is this one...one night on the other site and i sold it for 5 dollars less than the raised price(nearly doubled the initial price)..

so is it me or is it ebay..they dont get visibility on google searches which cuts down on the traffic. if they do its low in the rankings. i do check that to make sure my prices are in line with going rates on things. anyway thats what happened this morning. nice way to start the week and see that i made the right choice by spreading the weath. its a shame since i have been loyal to ebay for longer than i would like to say. would rather have given ebay the commission but not i am happy they are not getting it..maybe its a wake up call to us all. pick up your heads and look around at what is happening and take care of yourself!

All I know is the rise in shipping costs aren’t helping little sellers . People who only buy and don’t sell don’t know that this increase went into effect this year. I like to package things well and it’s adding too much to my overhead with the increase.

I think sales are so dead on Ebay simply because everyone is shopping at Amazon. That simple No fakes/knock offs. Get things super fast. Also...Amazon isn't letting China take over their site. AKA....ruining it for the USA sellers. No 25 cent items with free shipping. Ebay has too many sellers thanks to China. They should have their own Ebay. But they don't want that because they manipulate the currency they get from the USA buyers. 25 cents is probably 25 dollars once they manipulate it. Who can sell things for 25 cents with free shipping and make a profit. NOBODY EXCEPT CHINA

My mother has received Chinese fakes from Amazon multiple times, enough so that there are certain categories she will no longer buy in there.

I dont blame ebay for it. yes there are a lot of haters out there. the point being the item was on ebay for so long and on the other site barely and it gone. the hater would not have had a chance to figure it out if there was more action on the site. it would have sold months ago. i dont mind their rules and regs but they are over the top on things..some that i actually got overturned. they were happy to get the items on but it took me forever to clear it up. not worth it..rather go put the item somewhere else. time is all we have on the planet besides health.

dont feel like wasting it. just want things to go more smoothly ..is that asking too much these days. humans have lost out to machines. sad..

I live in Canada and there are many small items on ebay.com that I would like to buy but the shipping cost is sometimes three or four times the price of the item. I know that everyone is worried about non delivery so they use the GSP but a small $6.00 item with between $15.00-$20.00 postage is crazy. It could be put in a small envelope and be sent letter mail. The GSP is unpopular in Canada as they charge a flat $5.00 fee and often charge duties and/or customs when there should be no charge. Food for thought.
