Reverse throttling.

I normally sell 1-2  items a day.

Today I had 7 orders.

You don't just go from 1 or 2 orders  a day  to 7 orders.

It's not normal.

It's like somebody turned ON a switch.

I believe ebay is playing tricks  and reverse  throttling me. 

I'm going to contact ebay and ask them what's going on.

I got reverse throttled too! Made so much money, it was obscene! How dare eBay do that!

@inhawaii's experience shows we can never trust eBay.  Turn your back and bam, in comes a ton of sales, and you'll end up getting more tomorrow. And then they keep sending your money.  They SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish my sales would get an uptick. Tried a yard sale from 8 am to 2 pm and had 8 people show up and only 2 bought something. Total income was $13.00. That's just over $2.00 an hour. 

Somewhere out there someone must have put a curse on me.😁

Maybe, I've never heard of reverse throttling, inverse, I've heard of inverse throttling.  But, thats just too complicated.  

More than likely, Mr. Jaime read all of your posts glorifying Ebay and decided to reward you.   Its called the cheerleader package.  Just kidding...

It's perfectly normal. Where are you getting your facts from? How did you come to that conclusion that it's not normal? It's happened to me multiple times. Uncommon is a much better word to use.

A 400% jump is not normal!  AND for that kind of jump in sales, that means that someone else must be losing out.  Some other seller has gone from seven sales a day down to just one or two.  /s

It is normal. We're talking single digits here. Now if it went from 1-2 to 500, now that that would be abnormal. But something that you can count on your hands, no.
