Don't expect a number of helpful votes, people here like to virtue signal about how they once reported the cash sale to the IRS for dad's old vintage BYD tighty whites underwear they sold at a yard sale in Olathe Kansas on a July 2nd for $4.00 for the lot of twenty.

You seem super excited to commit tax fraud.
I've screenshot your message and sent it to the IRS whistleblower office.
Can't wait to collect my 15% off ya.

It's $1200 in my state plus if you don't claim it, less you'll get for SSI when you retire.

@quadcitypickers Why are you being like that? That is just mean.

I report all Ebay transaction so it makes no difference to me.

I'm glad because I find it easier to reconcile my eBay income to report my income than when trying to match the #'s to a 1099-K.

(She has a history of postings that allude to not paying taxes)

What makes you think you're going to get it? As George Carlin said they're coming for it and they want to give it to their rich wall street crook friends.

@roccotacodad54 That very well may be, but it is up to her what she does with that information.
I'm sure, if in fact she doesn't report, she would not be the first seller to not report their income. I only say this after reading so many posts here on this specific topic and the various reactions.
I find it troubling, at best, that quadcitypickers found it "exciting" to be the IRS police. As I said, it's just plain mean. I am not big on mean.

Those who cast the first stone are almost always the ones doing something ten times worse than the one they accuse.

Mostly those that don't understand how the form actually works or that with or without the form you need to report your income to the IRS. But this is something you should know backwards and forwards by now as over the last couple of years you have started a handful of threads on the subject.
Are you of the option that you can get up to $19,999 worth of sales on Ebay that you do not have to report to IRS?

Sometimes we react badly to someone that posts something every few months on the same subject. All the ins and outs of the 1099K has been explained countless times to the Op over the last couple of years.

I think he was just trolling her back.
