Most of the items I sold on ebay I barterd for or were purchased years ago and i do not have receipts for. After I sent out (were delivered) 20 items totalling $3000.00 and $300 in shipping out of pocket. They restricted my account (mc011 ) They are asking me for invoice or receipts for items that I already shipped out. How do I remedy this?

If you cant provide any receipts for the sold items,Ebay wont release your funds, sorry. They will eventually be sent to your states unclaimed property division.

What are your monthly limits? Did you exceed those? That seems to be a flag for restriction.

Find some receipts or call them or send a message and explain to them where and when you purchased the items. They will probably also require you to give you photo id as well. This happened to my son when he purchased items from a auction and yard sales so he explained where he got the items from and they released his account.

Certainly you need to contact them and explain where the items came from.......I would not just give up because you don't have receipts.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
So don't "call" eBay. You will be talking to an employee of a subcontractor.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

eBay typically does NOT do this for 'used' items, but you sold a $600 NEW AC Unit and that's what they want to receipt for (probably, more than anything)

I hope it was a pick up.
Shipping was $400. for this item. Ouch.

Why would any seller pay shipping "out of pocket"?
