I can't believe this is still an ongoing issue........
These ears are sold in a "Collectibles" category. "Price Gouging" shouldn't even be an option to report an item whatsoever in a Collectibles or Antiques category and I'm sure there are a bunch of other categories you can throw in there.

Didn't the board blue help you with this situation the other day via email?

and do folks really think there will be a paying buyer at the end of that? NOT!!
the gamers and thrill bidders are having a fun time! Some just get their kicks that way and are loving the attention... No payment involved...

More Ebay wanting to be Amazon again,so much for auctions that you can't name your price and people can't decide if they want to or not.

Hi @collectiblesdude*, I passed along the information you provided and while I won't have an update for you myself, once this has been reviewed you will be notified of any changes or corrections that take place.

The only thing we can think of is they are running scared of the states Attorney Generals........we looked at the PA law and it doesn't call out "essential items", just that anything over 20% over prices before the emergency......and with some indication they may go after things below that..........
We all know Ebay has never limited prices on anything...so there's got to be a reason...
My State does not use a percentage as an indicator to determine if
Price Gouging (might) be occurring. Many don't and the ones that do
vary. So their is no universal percentage that apples.
Your State does use a percentage (20%) as an indicator to determine if
Price Gouging (might) be occurring. The 20% they are using in your State
as an as an indicator to determine if Price Gouging (might) be occurring.
Just like every other State only applies to the (Profit Margin or Mark Up)
of an item in the supply chain that the law controls.
The price an item sells for is not set or limited by Price Gouging Laws.
Prices are allowed to go up and down as they usually would know matter what
they are. Price Gouging Laws limit and control (Profit Margin or Mark Up)
so that no one unjustly profits from the emergency or situation.

I blame all these socialist fools that are using "price gouging" as an excuse to try to get items for cheap/free. The people reporting these listings fraudulently for "price gouging" are the same scammers who file fraudulent item not received and not as described cases. eBay needs to ban these people who are going around doing this.

You're wrong. Price gouging laws only apply to essential items. In most states essential items is limited specifically to "fuel, food, water, and medical supplies."
None of this stuff eBay is blocking like toilet paper falls into "essential items" in almost all states thus these items could not be classified as "price gouging" regardless of the price asked.
It's the same logic behind Apple being able to sell an iPhone for $1,000 that costs them $20 to make. If this was price gouging then Apple would be price gouging all the time by your and eBay's standards.

I for one am just glad only I know what I paid for most of the items I have up for sale.
Because despite the 'low prices' a good chunk of them are in 900% markup area...

I am not "wrong". If you care to reread my post I said "that MIGHT be called gouging" (in other words I never said it WAS).
Apparently someone thought it was and reported it. I was not agreeing with that mindset at all. I never even intimated I thought a Minnie Mouse headband was an "essential".

That's actually capitalism in action. Capitalism follows the money.

Yes, my entire store has been restricted. I cant revise any items that are currently listed. I am out of some items and I cant change quantity on them. I cant add descriptions either. I also tried to list a new item...and nope, cant do that. Apparently my store is flagged for price gouging...at least this is what the message says that comes up anytime I try to revise an item.
Fun times.....ebay customer service is useless.
