I recently sold a trading card and when I received the delivery confirmation message, the buyer of the card messaged me saying that the card was damaged even though I ship each card with 3 different levels of protection to prevent this exact problem, and that he wanted me to refund him (he didn't file a claim or anything, only messaging me). When I asked him to provide a photo of the packaging, I never got a response. I also went onto his selling account and noticed he listed that exact card immediately after receiving it, since it matched perfectly with the photos I took of it. Is it possible this is a scam that others have experienced?

#5 Is bugging me. Do you actually get supervisors to call you back? I have a tally on my whiteboard. Its now at 27.
Thats how many times I've been told ill be called back and haven't been. I've demanded to speak to a supervisor and they "release the call" basically hang up on me...

The callback I am talking about is directly from eBay's support page. I've gotten a call at least 95% of the time, assuming the 5% missing were signal issues, I was driving, phone was off and so on.
Regarding the type of callback you are talking about, where the agent offers to have a supervisor 'call you back within 24 hours' I have gotten an actual callback about 50% of the time. Maybe a bit less than half.
My assumption with that is the agent fears they have done something wrong for which they don't want a supervisor to review. So they just don't file the request.
