I have a notice on my active listing page that says "3 of your listings have policy violations" and it has a link for "learn more". The link just brings you to help articles and there are no other options other than to close the warning, so how does one determine which 3 items have policy violations other than calling eBay support which is very time consuming?

Have been selling medical equipment for 28 years including 25 years on eBay this month, so am more than familiar with violations, eBay suspensions, case law etc. You may be on to something regarding recent years as I have had more issues with items on eBay this year than in maybe the previous 10. eBay has an obligation to follow FDA rules and also the laws of other countries that you list in. I had a item that was in violation as it required a prescription in the UK and according to the manufacture, nowhere else in the world. So while I take the time to check the FDA website to make sure that item in not an RX item, I guess I have to do this same thing in every country in the world as we ship worldwide? On this violation, eBay did not suspend me and only removed it which I appreciate it as I am not trying to slip by items under their nose as it does not behoove me to get a 10 day suspension as the 10 days off eBay hurts the bottom line more than trying to sell items in violation would even. Also worth noting that about 30% of all items in the Medical Equipment category are in violation of eBay policy as they do not have the required paragraph where it states if the item is new or used, has an expiration date etc. I am thinking eBay does not care about this as the FDA probably does not care about it, but it would be nice to see consistency as I take the time to make sure that all of my listing has this "required" statement.

Just remember - the only one that matters is when it impacts you. Everyone else doesn't matter. Anything else can happen once you cover yourself.
As to the regulations shipping products - ebay can't sanction you on something they do not already have warnings of in place for at time of listing. So - basically just look up the ebay categories you list in - within the ebay sites you actually created the listing in. The ebay multisite self advertising system is only there to make them money. So you don't need to worry there. But, as you should be aware, doesn't matter the where, as long as you follow the proper proceedure for retail sale.
They can truly ruin ur life over one power cable so don't be that power cable for 10 bucks.

Here on the .com site we can click on Seller Help to see policy violations:
https://www.ebay.com/sellerhelp
You can try using that link but changing .com to .co.uk.
You can also check eBay messages as mentioned above.
If neither of those options give you the answer, you may want to post this question on community.ebay.co.uk in case things are different on the UK site @click-uk .

eBay does not know half of the time why the item was removed and yes the phone calls can be painful what with the Philippines call centers. They are using AI more now so I recently had some items removed as the AI did not see that I had the medical equipment disclaimer in the description. eBay told me to put the disclaimer at the top of the description and use a separate line for each "paragraph". They said this my help with listing being removed in error. So I changed 600+ listing which took about a full days work. I then received an email saying that they took one of my listing down in error and the emails said it was this listing but was blank so have no idea on which one they took down in error but it was nice to see that they were willing to admit to a mistake. So if you are selling in the medical category, I would suggest you copy my listings which sucks as the first thing you see is the disclaimer and later info on the product. Also worth noting that you are required to put you phone number in the listing but eBay does not allow that, LOL, so just put it there anyway as it will say "phone removed by eBay" but at least you would have followed the rules, while at the same time breaking them? Also worth noting that the email will say you can still see the removed item so that you can see what you did wrong but this is not true as once the listing is ended it is gone for ever. eBay still has a lot of work to do as they are all over the place with the policy and the emails are incomplete and as much as they can easily remove items, it takes a very long time to figure out why and sometimes, like you said, you get no valuable info from support.

@matrixmedical I had one of these as well, a few months ago. Absolutely NO WAY to tell which items except by perusing my Active Listings (they were still there, though had a red blurb & error saying they'd been removed), problem was with over 1000 listings, I just lucked into seeing one. I certainly didn't scroll all 1500 listings.
As a 25 year seller also, I reached out to someone I knew at eBay & he confirmed that this was a problem, at that time. I was not the only one who'd experienced it. I'm sure that's what you ran into as well. He was able to look them up & send me an email with them, so that doesn't help you any, but if you scroll through your Active Listings, you will see them. It's just time consuming & tedious if you have a lot of listings.
ETA: Also, about 2 weeks later, I did get the official notice from eBay about the violations, with the listing numbers.

I went through all 600+ of my active listing updating the disclaimer on each and in that process I did not see any of the items that were ended. My experience is once they end an item, it is gone forever.

Interesting. Mine were not only there for a long time in Actives, even tho' they were not active, but they are STILL there in my Unsolds, which is driving me nuts b/c they can't be deleted. Here's what they look like STILL in my Unsolds 2 months later. In the past, I've experienced what OP did, that they are nowhere to be found when they get a Violation, they just disappear. I assume they'll drop off at the 90 days.

This is a public discussion board that is not read by ebay customer service. If you want to contact customer service you can help on the help and contact button at the top of the page and then scroll to the bottom of that page.
