Hi eBay Community,
I’ve been selling on eBay for several months and recently got permanently restricted due to a high Bad Buyer Experience (BBE) rate. However, I believe this was due to issues that were out of my control, including:
A Canada Post strike that affected delivery
A few buyers who provided PO Box addresses (which couriers couldn’t deliver to)
Orders going to Puerto Rico and American Samoa, which experienced known delays
I tried appealing by email and contacting customer service, but I keep receiving automated replies, even after providing full order details and valid explanations.
I’ve been working hard on my account, received positive reviews, and was aiming to become a Top Rated Seller. This situation feels extremely unfair as I’ve taken steps to correct all past issues, updated my shipping policies, and removed high-risk regions.
Can someone from the eBay team please escalate this or advise me on what more I can do to reinstate my selling privileges?
Thank you for any help or direction.

"Thanks for your thoughtful reply — let me clarify what happened:
I'm based outside the U.S."
You pretty much said it all ! Enjoy your BBE

I canceled these orders to protect the buyer experience, not to avoid responsibility.
Canceling orders is NOT protecting the buyers' experiences! Do you not understand that you made 5 buyers very unhappy? How does that not make for a BBE?

I would love to help you, but I don't work for ebay. None of us here do. But I wish you luck!

A Sellers POBOX Cancellation for small items is egregiously bad. When a Buyer orders a Tractor and expects it to go a POBOX that's Sheer Stupidity.

DEFECT WAS IN 2025

If you don’t want to/can’t ship to PO Boxes, you should have those addresses blocked. THAT is entirely under your control.

eBay disagrees. There are no reviews once you have been permanently suspended for BBE.

Lying about the location of your items is a policy violation.
Saying they are located in Pakistan and shipping USPS is not possible.
If you were shipping from the US, you're probably dropshipping from Aliexpress, which is another policy violation.

You need to accept that your ability to sell on ebay is gone.
You made multiple errors:
Sometimes ebay gets it right.
If and when you're able to open new selling account(s) on other websites, don't make the same mistakes again.

Point # 2 is not an issue if done correctly and within the rules of Ebay. But all the others, are all going to get a seller into significant trouble with Ebay and the rules that apply to us all.
