So I got a promo for 100 listings for $.05 a piece. I would like to use those instead of my normal listings for a couple of days. Can I do that? I feel if I get a promo I should have the option to use them because I can pay that low price for listings and save my free ones for the last few days of month or else I will have to pull things down. Between this and sales being down I don't know how much longer I can do this.

I would test one to be sure, but in my experience if I receive any promo with any cost involved, then my freebies must be used first.

I thought that would be the answer. Oh well. Sucks for eBay. I would use most of them. And I'll have to take some stuff down and not put back up due to not having listings

It's been my experience that the promos are used first........so I would do the test to see which way it works..........

Promos that offer free listings always work that way, but not usually ones that charge a discounted listing fee like nickel listings that the OP has. Tests are always a good idea.
I feel sure their thinking is that some sellers would complain about being charged a nickel if they still had some freebies remaining.

This close to the end of the month, it shouldn't make any difference how you do it if the idea is to take advantage of the nickel promo. Use up the free listings for cancelling and selling similar and then use all the 5 cent listings to do things you normally would hesitate to list. On the first of the month it will all work out and you can pick and choose what you would like to do with a new batch of freebies.
