One Week Ban? What do you think? lol

I was offered $3.16 on a $34 listing.  I would love to see temporary bans on buyers who send such ridiculous offers.  What is your opinion?  🙂

Just move on....i set up automatic accept and deny so I dont even see them

I block people like that after I counter offer with a valid offer and they counter with another stupid low offer. Not temporary either.

There are a lot more serious things Ebay could be putting a ban on.  No offense but I don't think a low ball offer qualifies and it is doubtful that will ever happen.  Don't let it get to you.  Like others posted here, block them from further taking up your time and get back to the business of Ebay.

This situation I'm bringing up isn't just about me.  If they are submitting such asinine offers to me, they are doing it to countless others & it ends up annoying 1000s of sellers & wasting a significant about of time, overall. 

I don't like the automatic accept or decline because if it is only $1 under my minimum, I probably would accept given this dismal amount of sales I am seeing.

unless  ebay puts a "rule" on offers that buyers can see before they make an offer it would be totally unfair.

It takes 2 seconds to ignore such an offer (if you wish), or 10 sec to  respond to it.......  why get in a snit about it?

Or you can set up offers to be rejected automatically.

Didn't realize who was posting........  Sakic......you have posted you are desperate for sales.  If I was in your position......I would answer EVERY offer with "Thanks for your interest, the lowest I can take is x".   Takes a few seconds.........and MAY result in a sale.  I wouldn't pass up any opportunity that presents itself.......

No need for a ban. When using best offer use auto decline. If the buyer offers without a best offer just ignore.

One reason why you always get low offers is because what you say is your asking price of $34 is actually $56.

tell them again...........some people like to "win" and won't accept a seller offer.....but if you keep at them, they will offer and pay a $1 or 2 less than your minimum...... happens quite often to us.....  We've actually had buyers offer 25c less than our min.....lol.....they can say they "won" and are quite happy and so are we.

No.  My asking is $34.  If they chose to have it mailed, they pay for shipping.  If they want to pick it up, it is $34 or what they may offer.
