Why are most of my items not getting any views? Anyone have any suggestions?

Try putting lots more pictures of your items at all angles so you use all the pictures allotted to your listing, buyers like to see lots of pictures to see every bit of the item, also you have auctions which is good, but many buyers are anxious and do not like to wait for an auction, therefore preferring to buy now or make offer right away, mostly add more items if possible, more items will generate more buyers looking at everything you have, basically go in with a whole lot more to reach a wide variety of shoppers,Hope this helps you and i wish you many sales

The low prices you had to list at, tell most of the story. There is little demand, and other sellers are paying for promoted listings and your listings are likely to appear so late in search results that no one will ever see them and click through.

Look at the sponsored ads on your listings. Almost all of them will appear before your items in search results.

Some items are not worth the effort of listing on Ebay. Some will sell eventually if they have any merit and value, but others would not sell for 25 cents with free shipping.

Low views = low interest in the item.

Too much similar "stuff" on the internet, and postage costs.

I looked at the Kit-Kat clock (of course!) and saw a lot of the same kit kat clocks displayed above and below your listing with free shipping.

Agree with others that you are selling everyday stuff. You have 2 DVD's listed for 99 cents. Did you know that the fees for those items will be over $1.05 so that you are selling at a loss?

Your DVDs are those I could leave the Goodwill with in-hand for $.99. 😐

My suggestions would be to find something to else sell that would make a little more money for you.  You can't be making enough to even warrant spending the time taking photos and listing and shipping on those 99c items.  People can find all the DVDs they want for cheap at garage and estate sales, thrift shops, etc.

Also, stop doing auctions.  Price your items at a price you want at Buy it Now.  Auctions are no longer what they used to be as buyers want instant gratification now and not wait a week for an auction to end.  Auctions pretty much only work for highly collectable, rare, unusual, or unique items, not everyday items.

@l071081 Thats just the starting bid. Was hoping people would bid and it would go up.

Less than 15% of listings on eBay are Auctions.

While auctions are eBay's "brand" there is a reason they are almost the only generalist online auction house online.

Most transactions are Fixed Price, and most Auctions include either Buy It Now or Best Offer which effectively end an auction and sell immediately.

Auctions do work for OOAK, collectible, and high demand items. But you don't really seem to have any of those.

My suggestions are:

  • Drop Auctions for Fixed Price.
  • Enable  Best Offer - but set parameters for Reject /Accept which will send lowballers a polite "try again". The serious ones will. You will never see or be irritated by the lowballs.
  • Use standard PL at 2%, just to get Views. It's my experience that PL gets browsers but not sales. Still since you only pay the additional PL fee if it sells, that's cheap advertising of your shop.
  • Add a couple more items every day. Use all 250 Free Listings you get.
  • Offer Free Shipping DON'T PANIC! Free Shipping means folding your shipping costs into your asking price. Which is cheaper? a $10 item with $5 shipping or a $15 item with Free Shipping? Which will be more attractive?
  • Enroll in eIS and sell internationally. EIS offers more Seller Protection than domestic shipping. Start with Canada and the UK, then Australasia and Japan.

Im selling them for what ebay said to sell them as.

EBay's advice is good for eBay, but not necessarily for sellers.
