Hi, I have an above standards account but I cannot seem to figure out how to be eligible for promoted listings. I can't see the option while listing my products and when I go check it out on my seller hub it sends me to this link https://pls.ebay.com/plsweb/ineligible which seems to not help at all.
Do I need to have a store subscription to be able to promote my listings?

Seller level gets determined by other criteria and I think feedback doesn't affect it.
Being above standard is not the only requirement to use promoted listings.
"Promoted Listings is available to all sellers in good standing with recent sales activity."

eBay is not going to tell sellers *exactly* how many recent sales are required, because to do so would allow sellers to "manufacture" the necessary sales to qualify.
I suspect eBay wants seller to demonstrate a basic understanding of the selling process first.

The rules don't mention a requirement that you have a store, but it does mention recent "Sales Activity", though it doesn't define a minimum number of sales. I'm guessing you haven't sold enough to qualify.

You are registered in Morocco drop shipping from China. Would that have anything to do with being eligible?

It appears that you have 0 feedback/sales. How can you be above standard? Do you have another selling account?

I am guessing that you don't qualify because you have only sold one item.

Because everyone with a seller account even if they have never even listed a single item starts out as Above Standard.
In reality "above standard" = "standard", you can go up to Top Rated or down to Below Standard or you can sit at the oddly named "Above Standard".

I seem to be having the same issue. I must of sold 50+ items and It says I'm not eligible to promote listings. Did you find out what this hidden requirement was?
Many thanks if any replies.

Hi
I have sold 2, but still not eligible for promoted listing. My account is above standard, no return, no defect. How to become eligible for promoted listing?
Thank you.

I think NOT being disagreeable here. I have only sold a few things in years... I am still able to promote listings. I suspect it does have something to do with the amount of items you sell ( or sold) and how reliable you are on shipping and other things already discussed. I am above standard and do have sales under my belt. 😉 Sugar

I'm a fairly busy seller, with probably a couple hundred sales in the last year and a half. All positive reviews and I still cannot promote listings. Every listing says "not eligible".

Are you running auctions? Auctions aren't eligible for PL. ebay is working on making them eligible, but they aren't currently eligible.
