New design for a sold payment notification email. Sold dates coming up July 8, 2024?

Just received two sold payment notification emails from Ebay with a new design and sold dates of July 8, 2024.  It looks like Spoof but the sold items were in my seller hub sold list and matched the buyer names and addresses.  Any other sellers getting this new format email with error sold dates?

I just got three of these from NoReply - I thought it was spam also.  

Not sure why they changed these again.

didn't get 2024, but got the following in the email :

Your buyer has confirmed the payment of $35.00 + $15.22 shipping, it’s time to pack up your item and ship it out. You selected 1 day handling time, so make sure you send it by Fri, Sep 02, 2022.  (Today is 8/31)

Seller hub confirms I need to ship by Sept 1.

They may be trying to fix a botched notification email in which the buyer's address is shown in European format, which puts the postal code (ZIP code in the U.S.) in front of the City name and leaves the State abbreviation out altogether (as there are no states in a European address format); e.g. 

    Homer Simpson 

    742 Evergreen Terrace 

    12345-6789 Springfield 

    USA

Would it possible to post a screenshot of the new errors without revealing personal contact info?

Here's another that has the wrong ship by date.....but also shows the sale date as 2024

This one has from:

Also just looked and saw my (legitimate EBay communications/emakls) showing "Item Sold" and date of July 8, 2024.

Legit emails, i never look at them, i see they stuck a "stack of cash" emoji in the subject line which is new, and the date shows 7/8/24.

Very strange.

I know its totally legit since I literally accept an offer and within seconds I have that email.

My underline.......so that's still wrong. 

Sale date is 9/1, so that's right.

LOL, now that I looked, mine says Sold 1/9/2022, but it really sold 9/1/2022.   @a_c_green  Maybe they changed the date to EU format LOL.  

devon@ebay  Please report this too, it's not just dates in the future, it is also either past dates or they are using European date format, for US sales.

Here's a screen shot, you can see the correct date in the upper right corner.  I only had 1 sale yesterday.  Not enough to confirm if they are just using the wrong date format, but I suspect that is what's happening.

I turned off all notification emails a long time ago. I use ebay constantly. I don't need those emails for anything and not getting them means there is no way I can ever fall for a fake one.
