Looking for someone who is local to birmingham alabama would list products for a percentage of profits

eBay has tried to offer similar services many times over the years, and it's always an abysmal failure. Your best bet would be to find someone who will pay you a lump sum to take everything off your hands and then they could sell them. The hazards of listing for someone else are too great.

...for a percentage of profits
@bottlestruck
Nobody wants to work for even 50% of something that does not sell. Nobody wants to put in the time for even half of $6.99 (or what is left after fees). How about offering an hourly wage?
You need to advertise locally for someone for they would likely want to use YOUR account with your bank account and SS#, internet connection, and devices to avoid the usual eBay problems that can occur. @brightlightbookseller has a better idea for you in message #2

This typically ends up being being a nightmare for the seller, especially now, with the ever looming IRS reporting. Take brightlightbookseller's advice.

That's like asking somebody to clean out your gutters or work in a fast food joint for half the pay. Most who list want 100%.
