Need help-eBay has not

I’m so frustrated! I have contacted EBay multiple times. I have talked to agents and even a supervisor to try to get a negative removed after buyer sent abusive messages and lied in both messages and the review.  The first agent said it would be removed but I got an email stating it would not be removed due it was not as described. That was never the issue. I called back and the bot would only allow email which I did. No response. So i called again and talked to an agent and then a supervisor who said they get back to in 48 to 72 hours.  It’s been much longer. No follow up. What do I do???

The negative you have now, it's to late to do anything about it.

Have a great day.

Re: Need help-eBay has not

Although it's WAY too late to do anything; why would anything be changed? You could talk to the President or CEO of Ebay direct and that feedback would NEVER be changed (because it says nothing against the rules and it is that buyers experience with you).

and by the way, the '72 hour thing' is just a made up thing the phone reps tell you- they have NO ability to do ANYTHING about ANYTHING

Re: Need help-eBay has not

The negative feedback you received can no longer be removed since too much time has passed.
The feedback also doesn’t violate feedback policy, so even if you just received it today it doesn’t qualify for removal. Sorry.

Re: Need help-eBay has not

Nothing you can do to get it removed. As others stated it is too late. All phone calls you were making were a waste of time. What I would recommend though is to change your return policy to 30 days w/seller pays for shipping cost. Next when you receive a negative feedback contact Ebay immediately. You can first go through the appeal process through the system without having to deal with talking to an agent. With a 30 day return policy w/seller pays for shipping cost Ebay has a higher possibility of removing it because the buyer can return the item with you paying for it.

Re: Need help-eBay has not

If I may, I would like to suggest a different approach. It's clear that this was your first neg in some time. After working hard to achieve 100%, it's easy to enjoy a measure of pride for a perceived level of seller integrity.

However, the integrity of perfect feedback no longer carries the perceived value it once did. This is mainly due to seller protection, or lack thereof. Unfortunately, a seller's perfect feedback has now become leverage, not for sellers, but for buyers. Therefore, anything over 98% is safe, and far less stressful in my book.

Re: Need help-eBay has not

Ebay is ridiculous with the negative feedback removal policy If you are just an average Ebay seller you have ZERO CHANCE of getting feedback removed .  BUT if you're a big volume ( making lots of $$$ for ebay ) then heck EBAY removes negatives in SECONDS !   The policy IS SO BIASED IT STINKS ! .  I have a bogus negative where the buyer just made stuff up that had nothing to do with my listing.  I asked to have it removed several times and their response was " its not fair to the buyer if we remove it"  FAIR ?  How is leaving nasty irrelevant feedback fair? But since I'm not a big volume seller Ebay DID NOTHING TO HELP

Take a look at any big seller out there.

How many negatives do you see?

Lots, generally, a small percentage, but some big sellers have thousands of negatives in a year’s time.

Feedback is removed if it violates policy or meets a few specific criteria. If it doesn’t, it’s not removed. For big and small sellers.

Re: Need help-eBay has not

So the buyer made a false claim when they said it was "received in shards"?

And you state "since that was never the issue".  Then what WAS the issue?

Forgive me if I was confused by this, but "received in shards" seems pretty serious.  Did she open an item not as described case?

Re: Need help-eBay has not

Wish that was true but unfortunately the reality is if you're a big money maker for Ebay you get feedback removed easily .  Not a perk the rest of us have access to.

I'm a person who likes to hear both sides of a story, which isn't always possible.  But a few details seem to not be included in your post.  How did the buyer lie?  She said the bowls arrived in pieces; is this true?  Did she want to return the bowls and you refused?   Did she file a "not as described" claim?  If the bowls were broken upon arrival and she filed a claim, did you refund her and file an insurance claim to recoup your money (if the bowls were packed insufficiently, the post office would probably have denied the claim anyway).

Very much not true, and easily verifiable as I explained in my comment.
