NEW: Listing is live notification

All of a sudden I'm getting emails every time I post an item for sale. Never had this before. Is this some sort of "improvement"? I really don't need these. I already know I listed it. It'll just clog my inbox. Nothing in Notification Preferences covers this. Thanks.

No, it's not new, been receiving them for years.

Get another email for 'just ebay'; then change it on ebay. I did years ago.

Sell Something

Get a question from a buyer

Give a refund (x2 as 1 is 'we're working on it)

Not to mention any others they want to send. 

20-40 a day. Click top box, delete. Easy Peasey.

@lesegouts  It's been the case since I've been selling here years ago. Mine is under "seller" in the communications preferences:

 

I have no idea why I have the box ticked - I never look at my eBay email, anyway.

Save all mine as they take up little space. You may not feel you need them now (and you're probably right-you most likely won't)  they could come in handy later if you ever delete your listing by accident and wish to locate it again. Every so often someone posts back here about how to retrieve their listings after deleting them by accident and I can't help but think if they'd had only saved these 'your item has been listed' emails, they'd have a handy link to take them back to the now missing listing.

I think you can turn these notifications off in your preferences.

I find new listing and sold notifications to be helpful so that if I can't find an item, I can search my inbox to find out if I listed it twice, or if it previously sold, etc. It's better for contacting a buyer to tell them you investigated why you can't find their item to ship to them. I just created a folder for all eBay notifications.
