Multiple feedback complaints

I have seen several complaints on these boards about the difficulty in leaving feedback. As a seller I haven’t run into that problem myself. I very easily leave bulk feedback through the seller hub. But I gather that the problem has to do with buyers leaving feedback.

 

In line with that, over the past several months, on a month to month basis, the number of sales that I have made has gone up while the number of feedbacks I have received has gone down.

 

I realize that feedback is optional and not all buyers take the time. But over the years I have seen that feedback as a percentage of sales has generally stayed in a fairly narrow range.

 

It has now slipped way below that range.

 

I am wondering if any other sellers have noticed the same thing thereby validating the complaints about the new feedback page.

The less positive feedback you get, the more the occasional negative adversely effects your rating.

 

One neg out of 1000 drops you to 99.9 But 1 neg out of 500 drops you to 99.8. And it gets progressively worse with additional negs.

I am fortunate. As a small seller a neg would drop my percentage drastically.

 

I have been fortunate. My only neg in 16 years aged off. It was for something that could not be tested before shipping.  Got an immediate neg with no contact, or request for resolution.

yes yes yes!!! This was the page I got yesterday, and no I didn't click a dang thing except leave feedback. See how there's two of everything, so that's why I thought one was for Ebay and one was for the seller all on one page. The first pic you posted further above was the one I saw today. If I had just seen that one originally, I don't think there would have been a problem at all with my understanding. I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid. Ha

eBay ruined the 'Leave Feedback for All'  page for buyers.  I used to leave one of a few standard comments to all sellers, even though some didn't bother to leave me a positive.

 

My canned comments were stored, and auto-completed, but not any more.  It simply is not worth the effor to leave positive feedback, unless the seller leaves me feedback, then I'll reciprocate. 

 

Sadly, eBay gets a little worse each and every year.....

We used to be able to do bulk feedbacks for multiple Sellers RAPIDLY a page at a time...This new system is cumbersome,untimely & irritating. Why do you always try to fix something that isn't broken ??

I don't have time to waste: so folks I buy from will do without + feedback until the previous system is restored.

Yep I am still not used to the new feedback system, I think it's bulky, ugly and cumbersome and I do not like using it either.

 

However, I will not punish my buyers or people I buy from for ebay's ignorance.
