I usually go to my seller hub from my phone and access the classic view. However the last few weeks when I hit classic view, it takes me to some weird watchlist telling me I'm not viewing anything...after click around a 2nd time or so, it works.
Today i can NOT access the classic site at all. Cleared history and cookies and it's physically impossible to view classic site. Any ideas?
I will go over to a desktop for now, but I pay a massive amount of stores fees and final value fees on a site with so many issues.

Having the same issue. After that error message pops up, click the My EBay link on the upper right and you can access it. I haven't found a way to get into My Account.
i don't think it's a glitch. eBay is trying to force everyone into the app.

I completely agree with you! eBay has become nothing more than a huge corporation!! Frankly, I'm burned out and fed up! As soon as my last two transactions end, in going to bid eBay adieu! It once was great fun, now just a great big corporate conglomerate where no one knows what the other one does and no one cares!!!

Hey everyone, sorry you are running into this issue! We are working on a fix right now and should have it rolled out in the coming weeks. Will update if anything changes!

I believe that such problems stem from eBay's refusal to leave seller's listings alone. They are tampering with millions of listings against seller's desires. This causes phone users extra data usage and extra time and extra effort and extra frustration which causes them extra money.... etc.
alan@ebay and @Anonymous - While I am still waiting on a response from one or both of you from a previous post, would like to bring it to your attention that buyers do not appreciate what is being done to listings any more than sellers do. PLEASE help us! (this is only one thread of complaints among many)

Do you require any qualifications for being an ebay programmer? Because 'working on a fix' for something that should have never been broken in the first place is unreal - especially a simple link.
I even have to use google to search from anywhere to find things that ebay search never finds brings up.

An outright breakage such as what we're seeing here should be addressed by a rollback to the previous code release, not by trying to pile good code on top of bad. It's also a lot quicker to resolve that way, after which whoever botched the original coding can seek help in fixing it.

Again, we're looking at a coding bug that should have been detectable with even the most minimal of testing and peer review; it should have never made it past QA. Having it get out in the wild on a site with as many users as eBay has is depressing, and hearing that it will be addressed "in the coming weeks" suggests that management either is not taking it seriously or is woefully understaffed with competent technical people.

as of 8/8/17 cannot access classic site/ saved searches from **bleep** my feed/mobile page. classic site link still gives error message. can get to classic site via above workaround or other ebay pages but is aggravating.Fix it ebay. Amazon is working smoothly.

It just started doing this to me on my Amazon Fire (Android) tablet about a week ago and no setting changes (classic site, mobile, desktop) seems to make a difference.
They really need to fix this.. As they say.. It's them, NOT US.

This is a pretty old thread. In some instances, the forced use of a mobile app is "device" dependent. Your device will force the use of a mobile version even if you try to enter using a browser and not an app.
Google search for something in order of "how to use desktop view on __________." insert the name of your device.
