I know this is a long shot
But when using FedEx or UPS ground economy is there a way to determine if USPS will be the local delivery service, or will FedEx or UPS make the delivery directly to the customer
Here is the "back story"
Firstly this has been happening to me for more than 2 months and in my opinion is getting worse, I've now switched to FedEx and UPS Ground Economy, but there's a catch...
2 scenarios which make up about a 1/3 or more when I ship to TX
1 - I ship via USPS directly
2 - I ship FedEx or UPS ground economy and the final delivery is made by USPS
In those scenarios 30 to 40 percent are either extremely delayed (12 to 15 days) or lost completely
If I ship FedEx or UPS Ground Economy and the final delivery is made by them instead, every package so far has made it to the customer quickly
I'm considering more changes but it would be helpful to know if USPS will be the final delivery carrier when choosing what service to choose
Well that's the whole crazy story
Thanks for reading through it

How many actual problems are you talking about?

UPS and USPS contract ended Jan 1 of this year. Anything shipped UPS will be delivered by UPS.
FedEx Ground Economy transfers to USPS for PO Boxes and for military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO). FedEx delivers the rest without transferring.
Keep in mind all FedEx Ground Economy packages must be dropped off with FedEx, regardless of which carrier will handle final delivery. A lot of sellers end up with lost/confiscated packages because they leave them with USPS in error.
Hope that helps.

BTW, I'm not sure the customer ever gets the USPS tracking number, only the FedEx number
If that's the case they don't see any additional updates
