These are not just delays. It seems the whole USPO has slowed down since the latest increase. No such thing as Priority Mail anymore.
Buyers contact us due to the delays when we have absolutely nothing to do with them. Had a package that I sent out go clear across the US and back before it got to its destination. Took over almost 2 weeks and it was Priority. The buyer sure didn't get a refund for this poor service and that is what is terrible. One has no recourse....typical gov.
Yes, lately I am experiencing usps delays and it is pushing my ebay shipping metrics into the very high category. My customers are opening item not received requests. Ebay is forcing me to act and that means refunding. Then I have to intercept the package and that costs me $17.50 plus return postage. It is total usps incompetence. I will probably switch to UPS. Meanwhile, Ebay is laughing all the way to the bank. They can care less since this pushes sellers into higher final value fees.
Did you use a plain shipping box ,with out placing any Priority mail stickers on it , I'm asking because I noticed if package isn't the color full priority box , just the plain box with priority shipping label Seem's to get packed in with the Ground Advantage parcels in the shipping containers delay's priority parcels by bouncing them around .
Nope. In the past few months I've had exactly one get miss-sorted and take a cross country trip, but that's not a higher incidence rate than previously. 95% of my packages mailed are arriving either on time or even a couple of days ahead of the estimated delivery date, and the ones that are slightly late are usually only by a day or two. I honestly can't complain.
So far I have had 1 package processed through the Phx USPS hub that got sent to Salt lake city HT. in stead of direct to me in California. I did get a day late with out bouncing to other units .
