....that DOESN'T involve opening each listing one-by-one and scrolling down to the shipping and clicking See Details?

You are awesome!
Now everybody is going to ask you to double check their listings. *hint* 😉

to turn your question around a bit.........since Ebay can't determine the listings which have FC package and which have FCM........what's your guess on what ebay is going to do when some don't change FC package to GA?

Are you saying you have never revised any of your listings to update the shipping, but they are now updated to ground advantage from 1st class?

Hi,
I remember reading some time ago that we all needed to manually make the changes, I just put it off, and then forgot, the OPs comments prompted me to check my listings, they are all showing as Ground Advantage, I don't get it but I am relieved, I assumed that eBay had taken steps to automate the process.

They automatically changed Parcel select to GA.......they did NOT Change First class.......

Since eBay doesn't print postage for letters and flats, I suspect the option to print a first class label will eventually disappear — probably near the deadline that the post office has set for refusing the parcels.

Well, I'm the only person with access to my account, and all of my first class listings are now Ground Advantage, and they were NOT updated by me, a friendly eBay phantom perhaps ? 🙂

@ampgroup2021 You haven't clarified, WHERE have they changed? Are you talking about the labels? Or the actual listings? The labels have been working from day 1. The LISTINGS are what's wrong and my account can attest, nothing has been changed. But the labels do print correctly.
Unless you're talking about Parcel Select. Those DID get changed. But again, LABELS have been printing correctly from day 1 or more accurately, July 9th, I think that was the date.

I'm not Ship, but they could get a good 90% of them with some simple code that checks weight. Sure there would be some outliers, but it would go a long way towards solving this problem. For a month after, I really thought they were going to fix this issue, but I admit, I'm beginning to waiver & think they're going to do absolutely nothing. Which in my estimation, means for those using Calculated Shipping, it will work until the next rate increase (and beyond if you don't care about eating the difference). Remember labels are printing fine. BUT that is based on the premise that eBay continues to do nothing. It ALL depends on what Ebay does. My opinion would change if they made a change.

I understand your suspicion and also hope it doesn't become reality. It would be disastrous for many sellers if eBay were to deny printing and shipping FC Large Envelopes/Flats. All of the sellers who have flexible items that qualify for shipping by USPS FC Large Envelopes/Flats would be SOL, as the USPS has not ended that class or changed it or merged it into another. Only FC Package, along with Parcel Select, has been ended and merged into GA.
I have a few hundred quilt & needlecraft patterns and kits listings that qualify for that rate, and I've been using it and really enjoy the savings, even though a tracking number is not provided, which has not affected me much at all because of the type of buyer for whom it is used. Luckily, I use Stamps.com for all my shipping, and they understand that a lot of online mail traffic goes with that rate. Both FC Letter and Large Envelope/Flat are, have been, and will be available to use there because the USPS has not yet affected its use going forward.
I'm hoping that eBay will not be so stupid as to end it for all the eBay sellers who need to use it. But then it won't affect my use of it anyway, with the other labeling/shipping service that I use instead.
Cheers, Duffy

I was not aware that eBay would print a postage label for a machinable flat. I had previously shipped many items in a letter envelope with a stamp and had thought that eBay did not provide postage for a first class letter or flat, and that eBay labels only supported package rates.

Greetings, Shipscript, and thanks for your continued input... I was also not aware whether eBay did or didn't, as I don't use eBay's system. All I can say is that I know there is a big question as to how eBay will handle it or end it, if it was ever possible to use it in the first place. Perhaps there is someone reading this thread who is able to use FC Large Envelope/Flat, who can attest to whether it's currently available to use at eBay. It's not an issue with me, as I have been able to use it all along at Stamps.com, and it will continue as long as it is a service supported by the USPS. I get a printed label without a tracking number, and Stamps does all the post-back at eBay, including marking the item shipped for me and even giving the buyer positive feedback. It saves me a LOT of shipping costs and extra steps and time.
I also use letter envelope and a stamp or two when I ship thin skeins of embroidery floss. I simply go to my Seller Hub and mark the item as shipped, then post feedback for the buyer. Been doing it for years... simple.
Anyone out there who uses eBay for FC Large Envelope/Flat shipping?
Cheers, Duffy

All of my listings that were first class mail, are all showing as Ground Advantage, I stated this in my first post, showing, and printing as Ground Advantage, and I did not change a single listing.
