Is there a way to make sure you've switched all your First Class packages to Ground Advantage

....that DOESN'T involve opening each listing one-by-one and scrolling down to the shipping and clicking See Details?

Is there a way to make sure you've switched all your First Class packages to Ground Advantage

Ebay's failure to reliably update this automatically would be the last straw, except that it's been years since we had any straws left.

That's right, he wastes HIS time helping people for zero reward, and sometimes for insults apparently.  If you thought he scanned your listings to find un-switched ones and make you look like a liar, you obviously don't know his history here -he is so often helpful, so often the FIRST to answer a question lightening-fast, and so often wiling to go down complex rabbit holes with other people's problems, he puts PAID ebay employees to shame.  He scanned your listings to HELP you and make sure you didn't miss any ..... so you insult him for it ....AND YOU'RE WRONG -those ARE your item numbers!   

APOLOGIZE!!

None of these listings are mine, so, out of 674 listings, each and every applicable listing has been converted by ebay, not by me, wastingtime101 is doing simply that, wasting time.


I just finished updating my missed 1st class listings that wastingtime took the time to search for me and tell me about.   I worked the bigger part of two days to update my listings in early July, but figured I'd missed a few.  So now I feel better and owe wastingtime a big thank you.

 

I have to wonder about your claims that ebay did the work for you on your listings.  I looked at several of your listings & see a shipping term revision completed  on August 17th, except for the above ones pointed out by wastingtime.  I can't figure out why you insist those are not yours and then insult wastingtime for trying to help.  

 

Hopefully, if ebay did the revisions for you on the 17th, others will post to let us know theirs are fixed now too.  Otherwise, many may have the wrong idea about what needs to be done to their own listings.

Thanks for the support guys - do appreciate the vote of confidence. It's all fine. I don't expect or need an apology. Not the first time someone said I was wasting their time with wrong info and won't be the last. If I took anything said here personally I wouldn't have made it past day 1. 😂

 

I'm the first to admit I'm not always right, but in this case the information I provided is accurate. I took seller's initial comment seriously and double checked all item numbers, shipping info on their listings, etc. Seller might have copy/pasted item numbers wrong or typo'd. Appears to be confusion on their end in general because eBay did not change their listings to GA. Maybe seller did a bulk update and forgot.

This member does nothing but help wayward sellers with their shipping questions....day in and day out

you should take a minute and review your thought process....

I wholeheartedly agree, Ship did a great job. I particularly love the ability to run a report based on shipping service after listings are scanned. You can generate a report for all First Class while excluding other services and not have to worry about doing the work yourself by filtering your spreadsheet. @shipscript has been doing everything possible to make this easier for sellers. 🙌

So happy to see the new tool! This is some of the functionality we should have had 10 years ago! Just ran my 3000-plus listings through it and found a handful of first class that I failed to catch with my prior manual search. That's progress! Now it's time to look at a few other details the report might reveal for me.

Unknown.  It will depend on what Ebay decides to do, if anything.  Right now they said we're good til year end.  


Since the label is printing correctly, you're really fine until possibly the next rate change & even then you may be fine if you are ok paying any difference.  But it COMPLETELY depends on whether eBay decides to find a way to deal with this (seeming doubtful as of now) &/or disables the ability to have a listing w/FC, which who knows if they'll do.

I know you don't need apologies; really I was urging him to do it for his own soul.  There is nothing as freeing and cleansing as saying "Man I feel stupid now, I'm really sorry" especially in front of everyone who witnessed the slight, whatever it was.   But it seems to be a vestigial human trait, on its' way to vanishing completely.
