Did you mean:

Is it allowed

so a seller offers in his title a quantity of 10 of the same item.

but in his description, it says there are a quantity five of the same items for sale.

It seems to me that this is a deception. You don’t know what you’re buying five or 10 of something.

It is also search spamming if you are looking for a 10 of an item.

Is this allowed? Should it be reported?

Re: Is it allowed

The real point is if I’m searching titles only for a quantity of 10 of something. Boom up comes his listing.

But then I read the one sentence description, and it says five.

All I really wanna know is which is it?

And is it really OK for any seller to do this?

could’ve been a typo?

He’s already made revisions. Wouldn’t you think you would check your quantity when doing your revision?

By the way. Still no answer from the seller as to what quantity they’re selling.

Re: Is it allowed

The BEST answer should have been message 2 of 31. Sellers are not perfect and do make typos or at least I do and I welcome someone contacting me and telling me so that I can fix it. It seems that your seller DID see your question and instead of answering it, fixed the listing.

Problem solved. Have a good day.

Re: Is it allowed

I think the OP is overthinking the situation, but with the problems real or perceived, this how we end up.

The seller fixed the listing, maybe they haven't got around to thanking the OP - but OP got the answer.

Re: Is it allowed

Again, sellers acting like they need to make buyers somehow the "enemy" and being unfriendly, unhelpful, and combative. Yup, that's a sure fire way to help your sales.

There is a difference between someone making a mistake and a seller just being craptastik at their job. It's apparent that few people take much pride in anything they do. Yet they want people to give them money for sales or low quality labor. You know, the "tip culture" we seem to be plagued with where everywhere we pay, the cashier is expecting a tip for showing up and sort of doing their job, with a frown on their face, complaining about everything. Seller here seem to be the same way. Can't be bothered to do a good job, defend those doing poor jobs themselves, but think buyers should just have to tolerate it.

Re: Is it allowed

I always appreciated when a random person sent me a quick message pointing out a discrepancy. I sent them a thank you and corrected my error.

Being kind costs you nothing.
