PHOTOS uploads fail on Seller page

This problem has been going on all month.

The Photo (jpg) appears to upload but I get this message "Upload failed. Try again." at the bottom.

The Chat-Help was useless.

I jumped through all the hoops -

• turned off anti-virus
• stopped blocking cookies
• cleared my cache
• turned off ad blocker
• used different photos in case of copyright
• tried Firefox browser and Chrome browser

When I finally got a human on the Chat-Help they gave me a different url to enter the seller page.

That url also is broken and gives the same error message.

I have no trouble uploading photos to my blog etc.

Mati, unfortunately, I am experiencing an identical problem. The photo uploads, but the message states otherwise. Hopefully for us, this will be soon corrected, as the listings will not take place without the photo.

Just as a test and a point of comparison, do you have the ability to try and add some photos to a listing from the eBay app on a smartphone?  I'd be curious if you got the same error there.

I haven't experienced this except very briefly every once in a while, so I haven't really had a need to find a solution, but I would be willing to try and help you find one if I can!

Jon, thank you for your suggestion, but I do not own a SmartPhone; I use a desktop.

Ah, oh well. 

Do you know if you’re using the “Simplified Listing Form” or the “Advanced Listing Form” (sometimes called the “Business Listing Form”)?

I'm sure I'm off base on this question.

When I have difficulties getting a picture to attach 

to a listing under construction,    It's almost always because the 

picture isn't big enough.   

I'll resize it and then no issue.

Dirk, I have tried increasing the size and the image appears, but it still shows a failed to upload error. Thank you for your suggestion.

At this point, I will cease listing for a few days; perhaps that will shake out the problem. I only use e-Bay for liquidation purposes and accept that the platform is afflicted with extreme changitis.

One thing I did was click on that Feedback tab that pops into the right side of the page.

I told them about the issue there.

I am using a laptop. I tried different browsers.

I can easily upload pix to a blog etc.

I got the alternate page from the Help person. Nothing works.
