eBay appears to administer accounts unfairly, where some sellers can sell near anything, while other sellers are suspended without stated reason. If eBay allows sellers on one hand, but not others, for similar services and products then this is discriminatory. It's no longer a matter of any policy, but a violation of business ethics and even the law.
Such discriminatory actions can be in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Equality Act 2010. As eBay is located in California, even more laws can apply on this matter. How do others feel about unfair discriminatory actions? What can be done about it?

Can you offer an example of the "near anything" that some sellers can sell while others are suspended without stated reason?
You appear to be a fairly new seller on this ID, so you will have limits on how many items you can sell.
Seems like there might be just a little bit more to this story than you have offered so far.

Discrimination is not illegal unless it is based on certain factors such as race, religion, gender, etc. Do you have evidence that eBay is making decisions based on race, religion, etc.?

on what basis are they discriminating? Gender, religion, sexual orientation etc?

Certainly they can "choose" sellers to exclusively sell certain items......... just like Amazon does....it's called "gating" there........

You may well believe ebay is unfair. But I see no evidence of illegal or unconstitutional discrimination.

No, they are not.
But if you disagree, feel free to contact the ACLU and tell them that you disagree with eBay's user agreement and ask them to take up your case. They are pretty aggressive when it comes to discrimination.
If they take your case, I will happily stand correct!

ebay discriminates when it suits them.the UA even mentions it
ebay goes light on the infractions when it feels like it
ebay has the right to decide unilaterly whats best for ebay even if an ebayer geys upset
the way it works is ebay gets to go soft or harsh on an ebayer at any time
the rules in the UA mention all of this.I think it has more to do with who`s bringing home the bacon and how often

1) I had an antique bone handled knife removed because the handles were made of bone, yet bone is one of the categories in "item specifics" that you can choose for handle material.
2) I had a contemporary scrimshaw brooch removed even though it was not an animal product.
3) I had an antique Chinese trousse eating set removed because the chopsticks were bone, even though there are several of similar characteristics listed.
I see ammo boxes with empty brass shell casings SOLD, yet empty brass shell casings can't be sold on eBay.

The ACLU is no longer an anti-discrimination advocate.
They are all about woke values now, fully embracing cancel culture.
If you speech isn't of the political slant they now like, they don't give a fig.

Might not be classically-defined "discrimination," but it appears to be unequal enforcement of a contract.
If you sign a contract with multiple people, then apply the terms selectively among them, that's not fair.
Sure (as the shills keep telling us), eBay can make up any rule that it wants. But if it doesn't apply the rule consistently, then it opens the door for a claim of unequal treatment.

Your view of evidence does not count.

ACLU is corrupted also.

What did you try and sell that got you suspended???
What was the stated reason for such?? (it would have been in the message).
