That's a violent image. What kind of problems are you having with your carrier- did you call your local post master to discuss the matter?
this carrier has been a problem since day one after all these months of dealing with her inability or want to do her job properly, i'm feeling violent. 🙂
She was refusing to scan my items on pickup, then lied to her supervisor when i complained stating "she scanned my slips every day" I don't print slips so how is she scanning them? She lied to me telling me she wasn't allowed out of her truck, yet usps gives me the option of having items picked up on my porch .
She has left slips about buying an even larger mailbox, obviously so she doesn't have to move her fat a** off her seat.
I put a tote bag hanging from the mailbox, since she complained about the plastic tote, she then complained the bag was full of snow when in reality there was less than a handful and my items were double plastic wrapped
I built a shelf directly under the mailbox onto the pole to put the tote on, no dice she Didn't like that.
was filling out pickups months in advance, had done so for years, package count is off, never heard a word about it with 3 different towns, cities and carriers, until now, once more complaints, so i agreed not to fill out pickups if they would just pick up my items.
Every snow storm she leaves on the first day directions on how to shovel, I guess she thinks I'm getting up at 4am just to shovel for her majesty?
Just had a snow storm i shovelled all around the box, she delivered, picked up without issue, beyond yet another notice about how to shovel. Friday worked til 1 am went out in my slippers and robe, no street lights, to put items out, Saturday she put the flag down and left all my packages that were literally 1 foot from her vehicle, claimed it was too dangerous?? She couldn't have left a note the day before? or the day before? or picked up items then left note about my having to clear a town road for her preciousness?
Nope, she left em sitting there, put the flag down so i didn't even realize she hadn't picked up til it was too late to drive them to po. so now wont be scanned until tuesday.
Previously she has put the flag down and it wasn't until 3 days later when i needed the tote that i found all my items had been sitting next to the road the whole time because.... once again she didn't pick them up
I've watched her drive right by my flag up with items to pickup just ignores them.
Rub her face in the icy road doesn't sound so extreme now ? bottom line she will do anything, lie, cheat, steal to keep from getting out of her car
I'm sick and tired of it, I have a job to do and I expect her to do hers, not asking that much, especially when she earns 5 x what i do for 6 hours of work per day vs my 10-12 per day
When you file online that goes to the main office and then also is sent to the local PO AND their District office for followup. If you mention that you have tried dealing with this issue at the local level and that the employee lies and the accept that, then you need to go back to scheduling pickups and adjust the totals each day just before 2 am central time so that there is no discrepancy and use a scan sheet. if she says she is scanning it they can actually look up that scan sheet number and see when she scanned it and where based on GPS. If she skips a scheduled pickup that is a big no no and will cause grief for her. If she states that it is unsafe take pictures with your cell phone of what you have done to clear it, which will have a date and time which you can then forward to them as evidence of what is happening.
I have actually filed complaints years ago that caused the postmaster to no longer be at this location. I do not know if he was transferred or fired, but he was gone as he refused to allow the carriers to pick up packages even when they were scheduled and then refused to honor the deal that the carrier supervisor made with me stating she did not have the authority to make that deal. He was gone 3 days later even though that was done over the phone, not in writing. My carrier came up and thanked me for making it so he could do his job a he was supposed to. I hadn't even told him that i filed the complaints but i guess it was well known who did at the PO.
As i said i now have a great relationship with not only my carrier, but the carrier supervisor and even the postmaster so I no longer have to file any complaints online. if I do have an issue all I have to do is contact them and it is taken care of immediately as the realize that we are some of their better customers that keep them in business and employed. But I am also very polite, courteous and respectful to them as i do understand that mistakes happen and understand that not everything is always in their control.
Use that online form and I will lay odds that this gets taken care of quickly. She may even lose the route regardless of seniority due to the complaints as i have seen it happen out here. Good luck to you getting this resolved without having to plant the carriers face in the ice. She appears to be doing to herself without realizing that there are ways to catch her.
