Here's one way you can contact USPS about issues with your carrier:
https://emailus.usps.com/emailUs/iq/usps/request.do?forward=emailUs
I have used this form several times to both complain and compliment my carriers. I have always received a phone call from a USPS supervisor as a follow up.

Recently the USPS withheld delivery and pick up due to severe ice conditions. This is a rare occurrence. It is said that they are trained to judge dangerous conditions. They also require a clear area for delivery.

this carrier has been a problem since day one after all these months of dealing with her inability or want to do her job properly, i'm feeling violent. 🙂
She was refusing to scan my items on pickup, then lied to her supervisor when i complained stating "she scanned my slips every day" I don't print slips so how is she scanning them? She lied to me telling me she wasn't allowed out of her truck, yet usps gives me the option of having items picked up on my porch .
She has left slips about buying an even larger mailbox, obviously so she doesn't have to move her her seat.
I put a tote bag hanging from the mailbox, since she complained about the plastic tote, she then complained the bag was full of snow when in reality there was less than a handful and my items were double plastic wrapped
I built a shelf directly under the mailbox onto the pole to put the tote on, no dice she Didn't like that.
was filling out pickups months in advance, had done so for years, package count is off, never heard a word about it with 3 different towns, cities and carriers, until now, once more complaints, so i agreed not to fill out pickups if they would just pick up my items.
Every snow storm she leaves on the first day directions on how to shovel, I guess she thinks I'm getting up at 4am just to shovel for her majesty?
Just had a snow storm i shovelled all around the box, she delivered, picked up without issue, beyond yet another notice about how to shovel. Friday worked til 1 am went out in my slippers and robe, no street lights, to put items out, Saturday she put the flag down and left all my packages that were literally 1 foot from her vehicle, claimed it was too dangerous?? She couldn't have left a note the day before? or the day before? or picked up items then left note about my having to clear a town road for her preciousness?
Nope, she left em sitting there, put the flag down so i didn't even realize she hadn't picked up til it was too late to drive them to po. so now wont be scanned until tuesday.
Previously she has put the flag down and it wasn't until 3 days later when i needed the tote that i found all my items had been sitting next to the road the whole time because.... once again she didn't pick them up
I've watched her drive right by my flag up with items to pickup just ignores them.
I'm sick and tired of it, I have a job to do and I expect her to do hers, not asking that much, especially when she earns 5 x what i do for 6 hours of work per day vs my 10-12 per day

So have you documented any of this and talked to your Postmaster about it? They're usually pretty quick to take action if you come to them with evidence that one of their carriers isn't doing their job properly.

i took it to the main office talked to customer svc who was a 30 year carrier, as best as he could (rules) he expressed his disgust at her behavior. I heard from her supervisor the next day which is when she told me carrier claimed she scanned my pick up slip daily. not sure how since i don't print them. She then asked why i couldn't come to town 1x a week and drop off packages? then proceeded to make excuses for the carrier in regards to time allotted for her route.
Excuses, Excuses, does ebay let me make excuses in regards to my failure of a mail carrier no. I get dinged not this lazy excuse of a human being.
usps offers these pickup services, as such, mail carriers need to abide by the rules and pick up mail, leaving behind packages literally 1 foot from her vehicle claiming safety issues is just too much.

really? i have been patient and polite for almost a year while she screws with my packages, while i get complaint after complaint after complaint, slip after slip after slip, I feel like I'm working FOR her, trying to make HER happy in every which way possible, Yet more complaints. She claimed safety as the reason she didn't up packages 1 foot from her car.
Seriously?? Does she think she is working in florida not maine? 12 inches is what we are talking about. 12". town road good enough for the rest of the neighbors but not good enough for her. I guess she wants a red carpet rolled out. Yes I'm angry
Maybe she needs someone to show her what a real safety issue is. Not a pretend issue, because she is too lazy and uncaring to do her job at any kind of a professional level. Would i put her face in the road? of course not, goes without saying, But YES I'm very angry and rightfully so.

If you have an issue with your own carrier that you are unable to resolve directly the first step is a calm and polite discussion with your postmaster.
If that fails the next rung on the ladder is the USPS consumer affairs office for your region.
If the issue is directly related to business mail there is also the Small Business Support Center (SBSC).

@escuintla wrote:It seems that the OP is having a bad relationship with his mail carrier. It is not that he is really threatening with physical damage but a figurative one. I have an issue with English, not my language (Spanish) so, sometimes I say something ridiculous or offensive. Mea culpa!
But, there are some mail carriers bent in being an ace, you know what I mean
But, they are trolled sometimes by their supervisors and they have to put the clown mask on their face and that's when they pay a price.
One day, many years ago, I met the mail carrier that was replacing the one on vacation. I gave them a few packages to take to the PO but he told me to call one day in advance in order to be picked up. These packages were first class. So, I told him that my mail carrier was such a nice person, he would bend his back for me, yada, yada, yada. Anyway, he took them with this face that made me think of some type of entitlement.
I didn't stop thinking the entire day about this. So, I planned in going to the PO to complain. And I did! As soon as I entered the building, the clerks, friends of mine joked about this and that. So, they said, what's up? I don't see you with anything in your hands? Any stamps? Well! I said, sorry guys but I came to complain about the ace mail carrier that told me he is too good of a God to take my packages. Then, they asked me who he was? I described him with details, and they started laughing.
That's our boss they said...……..
I am not a chicken but in the name of diplomacy I decided not to complain that day
Yes I've done that nice nice routine asking what I can do to make things easier for this wench, the tote was her idea to use, then this. Her supervisor enables her and makes excuses for her, any employee that is not up to snuff? you just have to look at the higher up then you see why.
I'm done it's been 9 months of nothing but problems, late packages, dings, She is interfering with my livelihood and that is where i draw the line.

A rep from USPS later confirmed a transport employee had recently been fired for stealing at my post office location.
surprise surprise that hasn't happened yet 🙂 I'm sorry it happened to you that is just wrong

not having problems with lost packages, having problems with a usps employee who doesn't want to participate in the services usps provides to customers.

Hi, yes i had an issue with a mail carrier for a while. Instead of leaving packages on the porch, he attempted to jam them into our oversized mailbox. Several times he ruined what was in the package. He was crushing the smaller boxes with his boot so he could get them into the opening in the mailbox. Sometimes they were jammed so tight i couldnt get them out. Othertimes they were spilling out of the mailbox, getting rained on.
This didnt last for long. First, i spoke to my carrier directly. He was not a regular employee but was filling in. When that didnt work, i took the pictures i had been taking of the wet soggy mail as well as the jammed overflowing box to my Postmaster. Never had another problem after that.
Did you get angry ?? 🙂 joking. Great idea, I was going to take pics of the area in front of the mailbox, but with the tote being literally 12" from her front door I figured just that fact would be enough. I'm Absolutely appalled at the lack of care or responsibility that this woman feels towards customers

@ads.ink wrote:Saying I would like to do something is not threatening anyone, free speech, and all that.
Saying and doing are two different things. I you say you would like to kill your kids sometimes doesn't mean its a threat or that you will.
I can find out her name if you like ?
Technically you didn't state you would like to do that to your carrier, you said you were ready to do that.
Yes, we all have freedom of speech, but that doesn't mean your speech has no potential to get you into trouble---especially in a public forum and especially when it sounds a whole lot like a threat.
A women from my state was just arrested for a threat made publicly. She probably didn't really mean it either.
