I don't like the new listing format, I don't know about many of you but some of us older people just can't change that easily....too confusing. eBay needs to think about some of us old codgers and let us dwell in the listing past.....Give me my old screen!

You are never going to get back the old listing pages. If anything, it's only going to get worse, with more clutter, useless dropdowns, additional item specifics and more, more, more of everything.
You can try this,
https://www.ebay.com/mys/overview
The links to various selling pages are on the left side under "Selling". I open each page (Sold, Active, Scheduled, etc.) in a new tab and just navigate between tabs. Works for me. Try it. You might like it.
BTW, I haven't used an eBay listing page in years. I just bring up a closed or current listing and use "Sell similar", editing the item to match the parameters of the new listing. No fiddling with constantly-changing eBay listing pages. The listing also gets a new item number and the "New listing" tag when posted. HTH.

Yea, the new listing format is awful for the many of us who use desktops and not cell phones. It has increased my average listing time by almost 50%. It is an even more pathetic design than the somewhat new and redesigned Seller Hub which at least I can usually bypass by using specific links in my bookmark bar. Iannone doesn't understand that many sellers still use a camera and edit photos on their desktops for listings. He needs to be replaced as the myopic focus on the cellphone user is one of the motivations for sellers to move to other platforms. The question is whether these designs are intentionally being used to persuade the small sellers of ordinary priced items, the sellers that Iannone has openly shown his disdain for, to move elsewhere or are just the result of poor decision making.

I agree. I don't know why they made a new listing tool that is less efficient and cluttered. It's like the people coming up with this new junk don't have a clue, have never sold on ebay and don't care what works best for actual sellers.
All they're going to do is drive more sellers to other venues where you can list an item in 20 seconds.

Agreed - The new listing page is awful for us desktop users. I like the original better!

A discussion the other day said that the Classic Listing Tool can still be used by pasting this link into your browser. You can expect this to stop working at some point in the future.

Thanks for the link! I will stop listing when it stops working.
At least I can change quantity without revising.
eBay was built on Mom and Pop stores, and we are old now.
Your changes (which we hate forced down our throats) make
us want to retire rather than go through another learning curve.
I was told 'Parin' is responsible for the new listing tool.
Was not even around or even thought of when eBay was born I bet!

Now I like it! The photo editor appears when you
click the main photo. Intended use is now 'type'.
If you do use the draft link above to list, click sell similiar
of an item you wish prefilled, go to the bottom
and save for later. Then click the draft link and the listing
copy will be there to resume.

You are my new Favorite Person! Thanks for posting the workaround, my day just got easier!

Already glitches in this new listing tool!
I fill in everything up to item specifics,
which disappears when I click any button,
and then it never comes back!
Usually it flashes off and then back.
Had to save for later, then go back and try to edit.
I had a lot of listings ready to do and
after an hour only did 3 or 4 with much trouble.
So frustrated, going back to the old tool tonight.
Hope the link is still there working... UGH
They wonder why we hate change...

Thank you for this suggestion. We also do a lot of "sell similar"... however, this does not work for revising existing listings (editing photos, changing price etc). The whole 'new' layout is awful: cluttered, time-consuming, unhelpful.
I am hoping there is a way to revert to out layout for revising listings as well.

you see....we here at ebay improve things in order to make your work harder. we "adjust" so as to make the site less and less useful to sellers. the more headaches we can give you the more our employees/adjusters make. if we can increase your work load by 50% thats what we strive to do. just our way of saying thanks for using ebay.
