I have noticed many people use the all encompassing "we" when referring to their business. Even if it is you and your wife or something please if you only seel 12 items a month you don't need another person. "We think that Ebay should do this or that because our business is not thriving as it should". Well "we" all know you work out of your bathroom office and sell leiderhosen.

1. We could also mean eBay and me. Without the eBay venue, I could not sell my items to folks in all 50 states & US protectorates (I elect not to sell internationally. Some might say this is a buy (I buy space from eBay) and sell (to buyer in the areas I select) relationship.
2. found this website - interesting similar at least in the screen name adn same state of residency. http://www.bodyaxiom-la.com/about

I find this to be among the oddest posts I've ever read on the board, which at the same time, also feels condescending.

I prefer people speaking (writing) naturally with their own voice without parroting the latest how to sell on ebay guide.
We and our is my own voice. Maybe cause I’ve been married so long. I don’t consciously use either word, it just happens. Maybe it’s my split personality coming out. 😂😂

I recently started selling on Poshmark and the site is driven by individuality and uniqueness. It seems to give it a whole different vibe and carefree feel to it. I assume Etsy is much the same. I wish Ebay were more like that. I don't want Ebay sellers to become cold like the outside selling world. Ebay is a community embrace it. That was all I meant from this post

The "royal we" - that's what I was thinking. If someone is annoying you may then look at them disdainfully through your lorgnette and declare "We are not amused!"
Exactly!

That's your ONLY complaint about eBay?
