I have noticed many people use the all encompassing "we" when referring to their business. Even if it is you and your wife or something please if you only seel 12 items a month you don't need another person. "We think that Ebay should do this or that because our business is not thriving as it should". Well "we" all know you work out of your bathroom office and sell leiderhosen.

We can't believe anyone is bothered enough by this to start a thread about it.

I get it, and agree. Sellers selling small time out of their home trying to acquire all the business "speak". Like "our business practices are" and similar phrases. I prefer people speaking (writing) naturally with their own voice without parroting the latest how to sell on ebay guide.

Be nice now maybe they bought into one of those "tiny" houses when they were the thing to buy for a very short period of time - but a real hard thing to sell after a few months of ownership. Almost beat the death of the "Hula Hoop" fade of 1958 when 25 million were sold in 4 months then the market dried up within two years. The were only about $2.00 each. Yeah there are still a few folks that play with them but in '58 every one had one even my Mom. Some folks still wear their polyester leisure suit (if they almost fit) or Nehru jacket.

Just look at all energy and thought people (including me) put into the replies on a subject matter that is of very little value or benefit to hardly anyone IMHO. This kinda' reminds much of our how efficiently our governments "work for us" from the city, county, parishes, townships, state all the way up to the big dogs in DC and any other form of gov I've may have missed. Me thinks governments are too busy building monuments to/for them selves.
Look only used one "I" in this entire rant but did use two "ours" one "you" and two "mes" wonder what that means? ( just a jest)
It must mean that you need a hobby, too.
Silly me, but, of course! That's you YOU are here, too!

Check out the time of my post about 6 hours prior to yours. The majority of my posts are well before the time the chickens get up. Not much going on then, but don't watch the tube much either.
But I do a lot of wood working & furniture restorations. Hate to wake up the neighbors or the chickens with the high pitched sound of saws, sanders, planers, routers, drills etc. Do that stuff at a neighborly friendly time, In the winter, clean up the wooded areas around our home starting at sunrise - about an acre or so of woods-a never ending exercise. Wood staining and top coating don't dry well in cooler temps.
Don't need a hobby sorry.

I must agree, it doesn't sound like you need a hobby.
The little girl behind me gets up and heads off to her civilian computer job at the base at 3am and the guy in the back is off, usually down to the LA area, around 4am - he's into restoration, be it storm or accident or fire. My busy time, much of my life, was 7p-7a and you might notice some of my posts are between 2a and 5a.
Nope, not everybody has time, or takes it, for a hobby anymore and, sometimes, a sense of humor is about all we allow ourselves - on occasion.

Moved to Chicago in '67 right after college, ran the Rush/State Street scene for a few years, these pics and psychedelic music was what it was all about. Thank goodness the sChicago (known as Chicago Transit Authority then) and Rotary Connection (Minnie Riperton came out of that group) both played at Barnaby's (a parking lot now). A fav joint called Muthers with groups playing at 140 dBa blew out my ear drum is still there near State & Division - live bands long gone. Gino's Pizza on State Street is the best deep dish pizza you'll ever get (some say UNOS is but not me) and you can carve your name on the wall - took my boys there une 17, 1994 years ago on our way back to Texas - got out my Buck knife and let them carve there names, ate pizza and watched the OJ Bronco chase.
To me LSD was a road I drove on called Lake Shore Drive not in this bus but a '68 Olds 422.

The 60's was a hectic, chaotic and interesting time for me - finished my tour in the early part and moved on. I seem to go back to that time all too often, though I make every attempt not to stay too long. Still have original music of those times - great stuff!
Well, off to Santa Barbara - have a good one.

Santa Barbara is a nice area, used to stop for short visits (breakfast, lunch and a couple Oh Look Sees) )on my way to San Luis Obispo from Oxnard to visit my son at Cal Poly. My older brother lives in Oxnard. I was on West Coast doing business most of the time in City of Commerce, San Diego areas from Houston/or Atlanta area. On top of that had to visit my daughter in Torrance - all on the weekend and take the red eye back home.

Know SB well - born there. Morro Bay to San Diego have been stomping grounds for past 40 years since settling back in So. Cal. Going to Ramona tomorrow. Oh, your brother is getting rain, again. Just started here about an hour ago, but very light, this time. Always seem to end up back in this area, and probably be here for the duration.

So I say “we” as a throwback to when my daughter and I worked together and my husband helped. My hubby past and my daughter is married and gone so it’s just me, at least it rhymes with we.

Did you notice that you used "I" nine times in a four sentence paragraph.
