Ebay pulled one of my listings because of "Intellectual Property Rights Policy violation". It was because I listed a Dell mouse that I have no use for. There are dozens of Dell mice listed on Ebay but someone didn't like mine and decided to stop me from listing it. What's going on?

Just throw it away, pack in mice that come with computers will take over a year to sell and you are unlikely to get more than $1-2 over the cost to ship the thing.
There are thousands of dell mice listed on ebay. Perhaps your specific model is one that is widely bootlegged and thus dell is pulling them all down.

@kauvil-us That's really strange - I sell Dell mice all the time (in fact, I ran out of them and need to find more) with no problems. I understand they *can* be faked, there are even YT videos talking about it (but there are YT videos for everything), but AFAIK, Dell devices are ID'd using the model number/name of the device (which is what I use as there are no service codes on most of them). Check the back of the mouse and see what is there.
ETA: IAC, if something is taken down, I would advise not relisting it here.

Did you perhaps use a Dell photo of the mouse from their website on your listing? Some manufacturers are more sensitive about protecting their creative intellectual property.

No, I didn't.

I had a look at the mouse and it's exactly what is sold by Walmart, etc. I've sold a fair amount of Dell stuff down through the years, including towers, laptops and peripherals, and what I do know is that you call resell the stuff here on eBay, but not on auction (for some strange reason) - it's never occurred to me to try to auction off computer stuff, so I haven't tested if this is true or not.
If you can't list it, I would not "throw it away" - it's a brand new mouse which sells for about $20.

I would leave the word Dell out of Title and just use a Dell logo as the first picture. I have used work arounds with success before. I do know some companies don't like second hand resellers because it cuts into somebody buying a new one at the store.

And just slap a buy it now price on it - don't bother with the auction.
