My thoughts also. In particular, Chrome pushed an update this week that triggered a notification in the upper right corner of the existing Chrome browser. I noticed that until I closed out the current browser session (so that my desktop could reopen Chrome using its latest release), its performance slowed down, and eBay pages in particular became slow to load.
Once I closed out Chrome and reopened it again, normal performance resumed, and I saw no further eBay page problems.

I use Chrome and haven't experienced any of these problems.

Clear your cache and cookies. Then shut down your device. Let it rest for a moment, then fire it back up. Give it another try. If you still see problems, try a different browser.
If your problem continues, you may want to contact Ebay.
