How to report a website problem

I have a person contacting me about a listing, with a photo of his phone number asking me to call him. I tried to report it but the link doesn't work. Then I tried to go through the contact us feature and none of the options match my problem. I have no idea how to report 1) this person violating the policies and 2) the broken link that is stopping me from reporting the person.

I don't know where to look next. Help please?

Re: How to report a website problem

This is a common scam (customer ask you to call or text them...claim they have problem purchasing item, want you to buy gift cards, etc).  Stop all communications with this person and add to your "blocked bidder" list.

To report scams to go HELP (type in scammers).  Link will appear to have EBAY call your back (enter your phone number).

It may be a glitch and you can try again later.

Re: How to report a website problem

Ignore the messages from (potential?) buyer, will only lead to anguish/angst.

My experience is I can't report potential buyers, only ones that have actually bought an item.

@redlisap

It is just a variation of the "text me scammer".  You will be unable to report it onsite without an item number showing they are the auction winner or buyer of record.  You will have to use the regular 'contact us' features to get a call back etc.  Really not worth your time, just ignore.

Anything that this person wants to know can be done thru ebay messaging, ignore that clown.

Re: How to report a website problem

Ignore and move on. Buyer is a scammer so anything ebay would do/could do to this persons account means nothing; they'll just open another account. That's what bad guys do. Circumvent for their own benefit.
