I want to learn how to avoid the latent fines by Ebay and Paypal. How to set up a temporary leave because of illness? How to avoid the 4% fines if you long time didn't get online?
How to fully understand the latent terms of hidden fees, if we can not find the rules on the website or through the help phone line?
Usually I got this knowledge through my experience. But some terms often update and change.
Many thanks.

Thank you for help. My friend.
That is another problem. Not only because of a medical leave, we do not have a button to archive my current status, but also we are often missing the list information, or item links, after around 30-60 days. I am not a professional Ebay seller. Usually I can not sell out all my small stuff, which are usually from my garage, in a short time. So the items are often listed there all year long.
For example I am seasonally in the garage, then I can ship the item immediately, but if I'm not there, for example I'm just in illness, it is very difficult to handle many of the small chaos listings.
Then it is very easy to be fined.

Thank you so much.
Another problem is that, it is very difficult to make records. For example, if I get suddenly, an acute disease, after I can come back, most listing information are already missing.

If you do not have a store, I do not think there is a vacation setting. Retrieving the listings you ended, not sure have not been without a store for awhile. Call a CS rep if you do not get an answer for that here.
2) Honor your returns from the buyer, to avoid getting defects for cases not resolved properly.
3) Make sure your inventory is kept up to date and check and be certain that whatever you are selling is available to avoid out of stock penalty defects.
4) Check you Pay Pal account frequently to see if a buyer has started a case there first instead of starting the case with Ebay. Sellers sometimes do not do this and are surprised by a case that was closed in the buyers favor and it happened because the case timed out before you are able to repond to it.
5)Avoid 4% increases in Ebay fees by using good pictures and good descriptions of your item and do not sell things that are broken, have flaws unless you tell the buyer that in your description. This helps stop Significantly not Described returns.
