Hi9 im selling quite a lot on ebay but still havent figured out how to avoid my time being waste by scammers. I list most of my stuff as auctions for 5 days (saving me time and i know when it ends) dont have the buy it now price cause dont want it. I ve got every buyer filter under the sun but still some scammers winning my auctions (at least 5 of them a month). then once they won i get the email from ebay about suspicious buyer, auction dissapears and i cannot relist even when ebay suggests its easy to do so .. what to do how to protect myself ? wasting so much time here

And what do you do when the 1, 2 or 3 feedback bidder snipes and wins the auction?

Your listings are a whole pile of blah, blah, blah. As a good buyer, I refuse to buy from any seller whose terms are longer than their item description. Yours are a LOT longer than your item description. You come across as a difficult demanding seller and probably lose a lot of good buyers.
The more you try to control others, the more easy buyers will back out leaving a higher proportion of bad buyers who don't care what you want because they don't listen anyway.

IMO they realize it when the buyer attempts to pay and the payment is no good or from an unauthorized account or they send you a phishing email pretending they paid.

100% agree. Honest sellers will just go somewhere where they are given the respect they deserve.
And scammers will just mess with you to show you who is really boss.

Again, eBay doesn't necessarily *know* yet that they aren't going to pay. If they bid on your auction and they have also bid on others that haven't ended yet or you are the first person they are doing it to, how would eBay be able to do anything at the time they bid on your listing? They have no idea what that person's intentions are until they bid, win, and don't pay and are reported. Simply not following some rule you put on your auctions is not going to make eBay give them or any sellers any kind of warning.

Im not saying about people who are reported... that's fair enough. But about users with 0 feedback wining an auction and then eBay sends email right away about suspicious activity of that buyer... So either eBay knows something and they don't care or that person is really clever and bids on 100s of auctions in split seconds and winning them all and that's suspicious to eBay...

Well wait until they pay if no payment received then unpaid item case opened and item relisted ... not much i can do if they win at the very end at list I can sif them through a bit

I think the easy buyers are more difficult just a point of view.
My listings seems long cause I don't use any fancy listing designers or templates simply due to the time limitation. If you want to buy something a long list of bla blas shouldn't put you off... But lack of other things should...

A good listing should basically say payment expected within x days. I combine shipping if you check out with things together.
That's it. Two lines. You have more like two PAGES of rules and demands. People won't read them. They're not enforceable. They're pointless and driving away good buyers.

I guess you missed reading post #2 so I'll copy it here.
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer.
"And do you have written permission from that major retailer to use their logo as your avatar?"

You're welcome! Always make your listings as short, clear and inviting as possible. Then you know people will read and follow them. Good luck!

Never missed it mate... even replied but for some strange reason my reply was removed ... If you think I should contact all of them individually do you mind finding out the right person to message for me ? Would be a great help mate

Fair point. I more care about people who read the description of the item and first line of my terms and conditions rather than people who click on the page and being put off by the amount of text... you would be surprised how many happy and returning customers I get
