Hi9 im selling quite a lot on ebay but still havent figured out how to avoid my time being waste by scammers. I list most of my stuff as auctions for 5 days (saving me time and i know when it ends) dont have the buy it now price cause dont want it. I ve got every buyer filter under the sun but still some scammers winning my auctions (at least 5 of them a month). then once they won i get the email from ebay about suspicious buyer, auction dissapears and i cannot relist even when ebay suggests its easy to do so .. what to do how to protect myself ? wasting so much time here

Never seen an ipad going for that much mate.
But then if you don't know how auction works then here we go

Exactly my point but people like to point everything else rather than find constructive positive solution to a real problem

The only purpose in having all kinds of disclaimers in your listings about how many feedbacks you need to buy from me, scam alert verbiage is to scare off good buyer, and ATTRACT, yes, ATTRACT, bad buyers who think you are running scared and they are going to call your bluff. Get rid of all the disclaimers.

Really dont see a logic behind it. If I scare good buyers then too bad. If someone doesn't read first paragraph then well they been warned and ignored a warning not my problem.
I'm looking for a solution how to filter scammers and time wasters with 0 feedbacks not a solution on how to improve look of my listings and how to engage with more people...

A sure fire way to eliminate the majority of your buyer problems is to not sell cell phones.

Nothing better to say ?
Am I only seller on eBay selling mobile phones am I the only one with scam issues ?

Every seller we see here selling cell phones has a lot of scammers. Nearly every seller who comes here with scammers is selling cell phones. Fraud is RAMPANT in that category.
Mostly because Ebay suggests new sellers start with cell phones then provide them nearly no protection for fraud. New sellers are sitting ducks for scammers. Cell phones are pricey enough to make it worthwhile and small enough that they're easy to steal and flip.

Yeah i can see that. I stopped being bothered by them but was wondering if anyone got some interesting tips different ones to the ones I've tried already and ones that well known to everyone. Thanks

I don't think your pro pic matters in the UK.
Best buy ( a USA company ) opened some stores in the UK, but they didn't work out, so they were all closed down in 2012..

I know you don't want to do buy it now, but really that is the best way to weed out the scammers and time wasters..
Buy it now with immediate payment required..

The OP has made it perfectly clear that it couldn't possibly be what he is selling or his listing warnings that are the problem that are attracting scammers. It is merely 0 feedback buyers.
Personally I love 0 feedback buyers, and I have never assumed they are scammers - they often buy older inventory I've listed multiple times. Plus they are often easier to deal with than pickier long time buyers. But then I don't sell iphones, rarely list auctions, and I have no terms of sale in my listings.

Can't see the forest for the trees.
The advice you're getting could help weed out scammers by attracting better clientele rather than turning them off. It's the whole picture.
Good luck.

Thanks very much. Just wondering why all of your listings are buy it now and not auction style. The context of the page doesn't matter at all but you seems not to get it. Thanks anyway

Most of us are not posting with our main selling ids. Regardless the fact that some are currently not running auctions does not mean we don't "get it". Personally I've been buying, selling and posting on the boards since 1999. You can't tell that by looking at my posting id.
The less welcoming your listing, the higher the proportion of scammer buyers. True fact.
Many sellers no longer run auctions because they only make sense for certain items. Nobody wants to wait a week to find out if they won used shorts. Anyone selling commodity items should be selling FP with IPR.
