So I'm reviewing all my sales in the past month or so with EBAY and I still don't understand how the total funds is so little. I can only think that because I'm below standard that EB is taking more fees than normal. Can you explain how I end up with 0.00 funds? I'm going through all my "earnings" and this is a real wakkup call. If I'm getting 0.00 funds then there's no need to be on Ebay.

I know some sellers here get food stamps and free health benefits at the tax payers expense and are perfectly fine with sitting at home in their PJ's because of that...
I know of 'ne'er do wells' that do this ^^^ without lifting a finger to do an eBay seller's work.

yikes on the math. You state that seller nets $11.50 on the sale. You also estimate that seller spent thirty minute on this item - sourcing, packing, etc. proceeds per hour would be 11.50x2, or $23.00. Not sure how you even got to $5.50, as 11.50/2 is $5.75.
This is correct, and very smart thinking.
However, one cannot assume it is "sound reasoning".
The reason being:
We take pictures of 50 items and then proceed to list these 50 different items on eBay.
When you get to an item that's not worth your time to "begin" with? Well, you are already there, more than halfway into it, the hard part is already done.
At this point, might as well finish it because something is better than "bank".
Of course.... If I know in advance an item isn't going to be worth my time? I'll throw it away before I spend another minute on it.
And besides that. Most things you do around your house are things you wouldn't pay somebody minimum wage to do. Therefore, you're doing the dishes for sweat shop wages.

My time is worth $0.00.
But then again, as I have posted before................... "selling on eBay time" is not a loss but is a gain.
My eBay activities provide me with mental, and physical activity.
Oh yeah - I forgot ebay was the only way to get mental and physical activity, and would be by far the most preferred way even if there was other ways to consider...
No one has stated that it is the "only" way. You do what you want to do, I do what I want to do 🙂🤔
