I proactively disable Best Offer when creating listings (this is already annoying that it's defaulted ON), but Ebay will auto-enable these offers after the listing has been live for a few days.
Is there any way to prevent this? VERY ANNOYING!
I understand that I don't need to accept an offer, but it's lame that my inbox is clogged up with these, and that I have to proactively clean them up.

Instead of using the Quick Listing Tool, use the advanced/business tool for listing. That option is in the upper right corner of the QLT.

Well as a casual seller, I have the seller hub on ebay and there is only a simple listing or multiple listing available on the create listing tab. Or you can go to a page that offers listing templates. On my phone there is just the quick listing tool option. The changes to the offer setting just started about a month ago. Before that my settings were never changed. If there is a way to get back to the old selling page, I would appreciate any instructions to find it.

You can use eBay's mania for "Best Offers" to your advantage, whether you list with auction or BIN. In the Selling Details section of the listing form click on the Best Offer click box. Just below that you will see two click boxes marked "Automatically accept offers of at least" and "Automatically decline offers lower than". Click both these boxes and enter your lowest acceptable price for each. If a buyer makes a lowball offer, it gets automatically rejected and you will never get a notice or email. If the buyer makes an offer equal or higher than your lowest price, it will get accepted and the item will close the same way as if the buyer did a BIN. And you don't have to be bothered with all the back-and-forth offers and eBay won't sneak in a BO without your knowledge. You might even get lucky as has happened to me now and then and the BO will be above your lowest price. I list auctions only but it works the fine for me. It still can't stop nagging emails from problematic buyers, but that's what your BBL is for.

I’m hating eBay more and more with their intrusion on listing with their default settings that I have to change, and worse even when something is changed when relisted.
They had stopped enabling Best Offer on Buy it Now listings so this is their remake on that. I hardly get any views anymore anyway as a very small seller unable to offer free shipping on most items (NOT free for us!) or 30 day returns!

Incredibly annoying. EBay has becoming unusable. Takes about an hour to list anything
