How do I permanently disable the auto-relisting tool?

The title says it all. I followed the instructions but I didn't see where to turn it off on my listing. I don't want items to automatically relist if they don't sell.

You can't.  Ebay added the auto-relist 'feature' as a permanent item on BIN offers.  If you want to stop them, you have to manually end them.  Sorry, most sellers hate this 'feature' but eBay doesn't seem to care what sellers want in this regard.

As already stated you can not stop them unless ending them: so now eBay is know for garbage listings forever, in the searches for stuff buyer want.

Already was but now it is worse.

You can't disable the auto-listing feature but if you show your items for sale by items ending first it is pretty darn easy to manually end listings on the last day or so.

Yes, welcome to GTC where you have to do twice the work to manage your inventory.  The only way to have an item NOT relist is to make it an auction rather than a Buy It Now.  Unfortunately you get ten days max for auctions.  The Good Till Cancelled policy is mind boggling but it is what it is.  I had to leave town for a few days earlier this year and came back too tired to log in to check the status of my store until the next morning.  I logged in the next morning and had less than five minutes to end 300 GTC listings that were about to roll over and cost me 25 cents each when they relisted.  I was not amused as I scrambled to end large chunks of the listings.  I managed to manually close 210 of them before the rest rolled over for another month.  I paid an extra $22.50 that month as a lesson learned to leave a buffer of unlisted Buy It Now listings free near the end of the month so I won't get charged like that in the future.  The savings I get every month from downsizing my store in June of 2019 more than covered my oversight.
