How do I issue a refund

Anyone know how to issue a refund?

What is the reason for the refund?   

If it's for a returned product, then a refund should only be issued when the item is received by the seller and this can be done through eBay with the click of a button, but FIRST, the buyer has to open a return request/case first and send the item back. 

If it's a partial refund for shipping overage or because you made a mistake in the listing and really don't want the item back, then you would log in to your Paypal account, look under "all transactions",  find the buyer's transaction , click refund, and enter the amount to be refunded.

Good morning. If you are wanting to refund a paypal payment you A) log into your paypal account B) click on the payment in question C) click on the "refund this payment" link.

If you are cancelling an ebay transaction the refund will be automated once you complete the cancellation (at least it used to be).

If you haven't shipped.........if you issue a full refund from Paypal, you will get an out of stock defect.......

If the buyer wants to cancel, and you have a message to that effect in your ebay messages, cancel as buyers request and a full refund will automatically be given to the buyer.......

Please provide some details of the reason/type of refund you are referring to.  The answer will depend on knowing what you are trying to do.
