How can I get eBay to stop SPAM questions or messages?

This buyer tried to get me to respond OUT OF eBay to a SPAM address. How do I report them? We all need to be protected and it keeps coming up that I have a 'Buyer question':

Do you really think Ebay is going to do anything about a buyer asking you to text him? Sellers need to be proactive and learn to protect themselves..but there is nothing to report.

First do not respond to the message.

You can go into the message click the “Action” button there you can click report message then select Unwanted Message, you can also block the person from sending anymore unwanted messages. Then delete the message.

As ebooks showed......you can report the message and among the reasons for reporting is "scam".......which may encourage ebay to take action against the sender.........  we don't know what they do, but hopefully "scam" might be a red flag to them........
