I sold a brand new cup in the original sealed box to a buyer 2 months ago. The buyer received it, immediately messaged me like 3 messages on eBay with pictures of the cup, the same cup just with a lot scratches and stains. He claimed that the item was not brand new. My response was ok?! I sold you the cup in the original sealed box, it's not possible that it was not brand new. The buyer then sent me additional multiple messages, complaining that the cup was years old, it was produced years back. He sent me pictures of articles etc to support what he said. So I was like ok?! What do you want? Partial refund? He answered that he wanted a full refund. I said ok but he has to open a return request and send the item back. Then he demanded that I pay for return shipping fee. I said ok to that too. And guess what? he opened a payment dispute through paypal instead of a return request on eBay. Paypal locked me out from the case from the beginning, the only thing I could do was wait. And I waited a month and a half for the result. During the month and a half time, the buyer messaged me almost every day, demanding a refund. Paypal eventually closed the case in the buyer's favor, charged me for the full refund. Then the buyer continued messaging me, claiming that he tried to send the item back to me but my return address is undeliverable, which is funny, since the return address is my wife's law firm address, and they have 10 lawyers in the same office. They get 100+ letters + packages a day. Anyway, so the buyer demanded the reimbursement of the return shipping label fee. He said, I quote "It's all your fault that having an undeliverable return shipping address on ebay, cost me the money for the return shipping label for no reason. So you need to reimburse me, and I'm not sending the item back to you, because I'm not paying 2x return shipping fee." It's been 2 weeks since the case closed, and I still receive at least 2 - 3 messages per day from this buyer. I blocked the buyer a week ago, but that doesn't stop him to message me. I just want it to stop. Any idea how I can block him from messaging me???

First you have to block the buyer by adding a member id to this page:
Block buyers from your listings
Then you go to this page:
Click on the toggle that says "Don't allow blocked buyers to contact me."
That communication block will include every member id on your Blocked Buyer List.
Keep in mind any member can still contact you via your seller profile page or your feedback page, whether they're on your blocked list or not. There is no way to completely block a member from contacting you.

Report him.
Contact eBay to block him.
Everything in your power.
I hat annoying costumers.

@timeless_24-7* You can't, as you have had a transaction with them. Make sure you have the message blocking from blocked buyers enabled - this will be for the future- at this time do not NOT reply to this individual at all again - no 'one last email', nothing. The time period where a blocked buyer can contact you through the item listing will lapse, the block message should kick in, and if they're still gabbling at you, you'll no longer get those messages.
This person sounds like they're a doughnut short of a dozen.

eBay can not block this person from messaging you but if they are abusive messages you can report those to eBay and action may (or may not) be taken.
Ignore the messages - simplest way.

Thanks, I just reported the buyer

@casuallyattractive response is wrong. @chapeau-noir is correct. You cannot block him from messaging you since you're in a transaction with him & more specifically, b/c you're in a convo with him. You cannot block messages from users you have talked to.

I think it's...what...30? 60 days since last contact? At any rate, there is a statute of limitations for these pests to where that specific block should kick in.

Oh my gosh this is so nutty. Maybe over a new car, but a cup? If a buyer is unhappy with an item received, I almost 100% of the time issue a full refund immediately. Don't tell anyone though.

Well, the cup is a limited JLO edition. I love JLO, but I’m not crazy enough to own a JLO cup. I bought it as a gift to others, costed me $100 last year. And the person I was expecting didn’t come to visit. I hold on the cup for more than half a year, and did not want to hold on it anymore. So I listed on eBay for $70, brand new in original sealed package, bought it last year. I thought the price is more than fair and whoever buy it would be happy…. And I happened to encounter this difficult customer, I did not get the item back, and lost the money too…. And the customer is annoying me to death… even I ignore her completely, I still get like 2-3 notifications from eBay daily telling me someone messaged me on eBay. I always get on eBay to see since I do try to answer customer questions… and every day I get on eBay to check out msg, it’s all his/her msgs…. Ughhhh

As annoying as it may be, you have reported them so now ignore them. They will get tired of it soon, at least they did not leave a bad feedack.

Trust me, he would've left me bad feedback. The only reason he didn't was that he couldn't. eBay only gives buyers 45 days after delivery to leave feedback. Since the payment dispute dragged on 2 months long, by the time he was **bleep** that I refused to send him $15 on Paypal to cover his so-called wasted return shipping label fee, it was too late for him to leave me bad feedback. He's been threatening me by saying that he would leave bad feedback and publicize my eBay user name if I don't refund him a full refund + return shipping fee. Even more ridiculously, after he received the full refund due to the payment dispute closed in his favor, he still demanded full refund + return shipping fee. When I pointed out that he already received the full refund, he dead ass said, I quote "You NEVER refunded me, my bank refunded me and it's none of your business, I need the full refund from you!!!" Whatever it means. I couldn't get him to understand that his bank charged me for the refund, so the refund is from me. Or he just tries to scam me, who knows.....

Actually eBay gives 60 days to leave feedback after date of delivery and it also sounds like you are still conversing with this person.
All have advised you to ignore, now it is up to you - let it go.
